change the height or scale of the y axis
Hallo, All, I have a question about changing the height or scale of the y axis. When I use following two R codes, I can get two plots. Please look at the y axes, the number of indices (x1, x2, ?) on the y axis in the first plot is smaller than that in the second plot, and hence the space between any two indices in the first plot is wider than that in the second plot. As the number of indices

Query about creating time sequences
Hi All, I have a query about time based sequences. I know such questions have been asked a lot on forums, but I couldnt find the exact thing that I was looking for. I want to create a time-based sequence which will mimic the trading window AND would span multiple days. Something like below: "2011-01-03 09:15:00 IST" "2011-01-03 09:15:01 IST" .... .... .... Park & No Announce?
We're using Grandstream GXP-2000 with programmed buttons to the first 5 parking lot extensions. When a call is parked, whichever parking lot extension it's parked on lights up red. We've never used the "announce" part and I'm wondering if there's an option I can't seem to find to disable the announce so the transfer happens faster. Thanks for any help, Ken

polycom dialplan
I recently had a bear of a time getting a Polycom Soundpoint 500IP up and registered.. Now that its registered I ran into a problem w/ the dialplan. Needing to dial x101 I'd dial 10 - then get a fast buzy.. Also making a local call - dialing 95551212- would give me a fast busy after the 7th digit - so 9555121.. Same w/ LD calls... This dialplan really got me down as I didn't find

Sticky Park
My company for various reasons has asked that I come up with a way to have previously parked calls be re-parked in the same parking slot. I have looked at setting up asterisk so that the receptionist chooses which slot to place a call, but I think there is an easier way. That is when I came up with the idea of "Sticky Park". Here is how it would work. A call would come in and

Aastra 9112i or 9133i Ring Tones
I've been looking at the two phones Aastra 9112i and 9133i for our offices now. I was just curious if anyone could tell me about the ring tones. Specifically: 1) How many ring tones do they come with? 2) Can you upload your own ring tones? 3) If so, what format and how? (wav, mp3, gsm, etc. and TFTP, web management, flash, etc.) Thanks for any help. -- Tim DeBaillie 812-476-2721

AGI - How to Make Calls and Bridge to Original Incoming
I need to accept an incoming call, make a series of outgoing calls, and once I find someone willing to accept the call, bridge the original incoming call to the outgoing call. Using Dial from an AGI script isn't enough because once the Dial'ed number connects, the call is immediately bridged and I need to ask the called party if they will accept the call. I can see a couple of

PRI Crapping Out Regularly
We have a server with a TE120 on a partial PRI trunk that several times a day declares the PRI trunk down and stops handling calls until the asterisk is stopped, the zaptel/te120 modules reloaded, and asterisk started. Just before things go down, the log shows the following error: ERROR[9424] chan_zap.c: Write to 28 failed: Unknown error 500 at which point a "show pri spans"

Polycom provision errors still! Arg!
I have been struggling over central provisioning for quite some time. I have eagerly watched each post with like problems but have yet to find a reliable answer. I have a Polycom 501 and I am trying to provision from an FTP server, and just to take any routing out of the issue it is on the same subnet. I am running the 2.0.1.0291 firmware and 3.2.2 bootrom. Park() help, extension not heard
I'm trying to get call parking to work, but I've run out of things to try. I can place a call between two internal extensions, then on one extension transfer the call to extension 700, and the call gets parked on 701 but I don't hear the extension number when I do the transfer. I can hangup and call 701 and get the call back. Here's what I see: (comments added on lines starting

Codes negotiation problemsbetweenAsterisk1.4beta2 and Aastra 480i
The problem with the extra ptime descriptions in the SDP has been fixed in Asterisk (see http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/svn-commits/2006-October/017694.html). I've got the latest version of the 1.4 branch from SVN and have verified that the codec negotiation is working again. If you don't want to try the latest SVN version, then you'll have to restrict the phones to a single codec
