similar to: Music on hold question

Does anyone have a good solution to stream hold music to the Asterisk/FreePBX server? I currently have setup WinAMP using ShoutCast but it appears to a very touch and go stream, being that it seems to periodically drop the connection. Hello everyone, I am having a bit of problem getting MusicOnhold to play. I am running Asterisk 1.4 with MPG123 0.59 installed. And here's what i see in the debugging window of asterisk: -- Started music on hold, class 'default', on channel 'SIP/x123-082043d0' -- Stopped music on hold on SIP/x123-082043d0 Any idea why it is not playing the file at all? thanks

Running Asterisk 1.2.9. I just installed a TE110P card and configured zaptel.conf & zapata.conf. The config files look right to me but I'm getting the following error when trying to start asterisk: Asterisk died with code 1. Automatically restarting Asterisk. I'm trying to use a Xorcom Astribank wth Ubuntu 8.04, but got no success. I can see the channel bank with lsusb, but when I tried to use zaptel_hardware, or when I try the /etc/init.d/script, they don't see my Channel Bank. With one IVR payment system, I noticed quite a difference in DTMF transmission between these two cards. The IVR missed nearly all digits from X100P, while receiving digits from TDM fine. Since neither card process or synthesize audio, what can the difference be? (This particular IVR has problem with some regular phone devices, too.) Yuan Liu
