here's a fix for Goldmine (and other ISAM database based programs) on Windows NT/2000/XP clients talking to samba
Goldmine seems to a compiled database application compiled in something likeClipper.
Clipper applications record lock through ISAM like files (DBF).
However, in Windows NT/2000/XP, Opportunistic locking is turned on
by default in order to accelerate file transfer from file services.
[Windows 95/98 did not Opportunisticly lock]

Goldmine DDE to Linux Wordprocessor
Hello,
Newbie to wine.
I have built a wine binary from source (wine-20031212). I have been
able to get Goldmine 5.0 running well with this version of wine.
Goldmine has the ability to perform a DDE interface to format some
information and launch a word processor. Essentially, to fill in some
macro pieces before opening a template. I can get the interface to work
with OpenOffice.org

Large Corosync/Pacemaker clusters
Hi,
We''re setting up fairly large Lustre 2.1.2 filesystems, each with 18
nodes and 159 resources all in one Corosync/Pacemaker cluster as
suggested by our vendor. We''re getting mixed messages on how large of a
Corosync/Pacemaker cluster will work well between our vendor an others.
1. Are there Lustre Corosync/Pacemaker clusters out there of this
size or larger?

Hello folks,
I'm new to this list. Before posting this I tried to search the
archives, but couldn't find anything relevant - so excuse me if it's
been discussed already.
I run a server with Archlinux and Samba 3.2.5 as PDC for ~30
Windows workstations. I have a share containing a CRM-like system with
whole bunch of DB files and Windows executables (GoldMine). People run

Where's crm (from pacemaker-cli) on CentOS 6.4?
Hi,
After upgrade the nodes on one of my HA clusters I find that "crm" isn't
on the pacemaker-cli package. After some research on the web I find this:

That thread points to this OpenSuSE repo:

Integration of Asterisk with MS Dynamics CRM
Have a request from a customer to integrate Asterisk into an MS CRM
environment. From quick research it seems the way to do this is through
a CTI interface and it requires 3rd party middleware.
I have zero experience with MS CRM, so looking for some tips on if/how
this is possible, specifically what MS CRM is capable of. I think it
should be possible with a basic TAPI exchange and no need for

CRM integration with Asterisk
Hi
I have seen discussion about Asterisk integration with SugarCRM and
Salesforce.com CRM in mailing list archives.
I just want to add here that Star Outlook Dialer (Free Edition) has
built in integration (through StarJunction) with SugarCRM as well as
with Salesforce CRM. It is available for free download at

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
FYI - We have a solution here provided by Lucent that allows us to play /
review voicemails left on the Octel attached to the 5ESS switch... While
this is a simple webpage - doing a refresh every 3 to 4 seconds, it does
actually work.
The only loss of course would be if someone hung up on first ring - the
browser might not catch it in time.

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
hello everyone,
I just had a thought on this subject why not create a daemon process on
the Client PC That registers its self and What phone the user is
connected. An AGI script could monitor the progress and when answered
could send a push to the registered daemon which would push a link to
the registered daemon on the telephone operators on the desk top. this
would not waist resource as much as

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
Hello,
We use astGUIclient, it does have server side apps that have to be installed
on your Asterisk server, but it does have callerID popups that allow you to
search a customizable web page when a call comes in. We are also releasing a
new version of the astGUIclient app next week that is entirely web-based and
easier to configure the client side.

CRM Commercial soft and windows authenticaction
We have a crm aplication running on windows desktops and we want to
migrate it to linux desktop. For this issue we run the apps with wine
but the problem is the aplicaction validate login users automaticaly
with our windows domain controlers. Because this fail to start...
My question is:
Running this apps using WINE could interact with SAMBA for windows
authentication too (challenge/response)?
