BRI and PRI together possible?
Hi,
I plan to setup an * Server with a TE10P PRI card as E1 and a BN4S0 4 Port
BRI card in one box.
I tried it first with the bristuff drivers from Junghanns. The BRI card
worked fine alone, but as soon as I load the zaptel driver for the
TE110P the BRI card says, that the port is down.
So I tried it with mISDN. But it seems that this stuff is still unstable

TE110P flashing red/green when PRI connected
Hi
I'm having difficulties getting up my TE110P (running as a E1) when I connect it to the PRI. If I start the server with a loopback connector everything seems fine and the led is green but when I connect it to the PRI the flashing starts ....
I can't seem to find anything in the log that suggests what could be wrong

Testing ISDN T1/E1 Bri and Pri etc.
Hi All,
Can anyone recommend any test kit that you can hook up your Pri/Bri
cards to without having actual ISDN in your office. For example
testing an * system before it goes to a clients office.
Thanks,
Gavin.

TE110P on E1
Hi,
I wonder if anyone is using Digium's TE110P card on an E1 connection.
I have been try to, but so far it wasn't much of a success.
It only works more or less in EuroISDN as PRI CPE.
And even that config gives me some trouble with channel negotiation.
My current config:
*zaptel.conf:*
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15,17-31
dchan=16
loadzone=be
defaultzone=be
*zapata.conf:*

E1 PRI Warnings
Hi,
I've connected a TE110P from digium with a 2 E1 to a Siemens PBX using
asterisk from ubuntu linux.
Everything is working as expected. This box is being used as a H323
gateway to the pstn. There are few complains but it is working pretty
well overall.
There is one thing that is bothering me.
Asterisk says:
May 22 05:03:39 WARNING[9360]: PRI: !! No channel map, no channel, and no ds1?

BRI Fax out through PRI?
Having seen all the discussions about troubles with faxing I am thinking
of another solution, keeping it all digital.
I want to put two ISDN BRI cards in a faxserver (not running Linux). The
two BRI ports will be connected to a QUAD BRI card in an Asterisk box.
The asterisk box will have a single PRI span for communication to the
PSTN.
Basically the setup will be:

ISDN, BRI, PRI, voice over IP, and more...
Hi,
I am thinking of starting a project at Work to pilot to use of Astrisk
and VOIP, and would like to tie in several projects together.
Currently we are looking at purchasing an ISDN and H.323 based video
conferencing system from Polycom. It suggests the use of 3-4 BRI lines
(ie 6-8 B channels, but in the form of individual BRIs). We need ISDN
for the video conferencing to communicate with

how can PRI, BRI and analog cards achieve a synchronous clock / timing
hello list,
i have a problem regarding the synchronisity (clock source) when using
multiple cards.
e.g. when having connected one PRI port of our TE410P to the telco, i
need to have the analog card like the TDM400P or a B410P synchronous to
the clock of our telco provider. otherwise faxing on the analog cards
does not work or i get cracking noise or even hangups on my BRI lines,
due to bit slips.

Re: Echo and other reasons to migrate to BRI from POTS? Was (Echo on PRI/BRI?)
Paul,
Ah, I see. Our echo is largly under control now. It took me a while to
figure out the gains and get them tuned, and now the echo only leaves very
small artifacts. Nonetheless, this still provokes the odd complaint here and
there. We use VOIP for outgoing calls when our POTS lines are congested, and
we find zero echo during those calls. Therefore, I assume that our handsets

incoming calls dropout on PRI over TE110p
I am running Asterisk 1.0.9 and have been running all my calls through a VSP over a IAX2 trunk however we have recently purchased and connected a TE110p to a PRI ( E1 with 16 voice channels ) through Optus. I can make outgoing calls via it fine, however incoming calls are dropped after a few seconds ( or as soon as a command like Playback, or the call is picked up if forwarded to a SIP

About cards for ISDN-PRI in Ireland
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi all
I have already a fully operational Asterisk PBX connected only to the IP world.
As a necessary step before smashing our current PBX, I need to install
and configure an ISDN card able to take an incoming E1 line provided
by Eircom.
That's the one and only ISDN line we will ever have, so I am planning
to get a single port card similar to

Echo on PRI/BRI?
Howdy:
Does echo only occur on analogue PSTN lines, or can it also occur on PRI and
BRI lines? If so, for the same reasons? This is a part of our consideration
to transition to BRI.

I have problem with Digium TE110P connected to CISCO 3640 (port on
NM-HDV-2E1-60) wth PRI E1 link. I use CISCO now for testing but when I
tried with real PBX problem was exactly same.
I have this messages in Asterisk conole and log sometimes:

Usually 2-5 such messages in series, can be repeated after 10

Suggestions for Asterisk + BRI + Data
Hi All,
The link http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Data+Configuration
talks about how a Digium PRI card can be setup for data, and
also be used by asterisk to handle voice.
Is the same or similar possible with BRI ?
There are a few links on the Wiki to BRI cards, and
that BRI can be supported through CAPI compatible hardware.
That will take care of voice.
What I want to do is use a BRI
