Eicon Diva Server 4BRI
Hi Everybody,
Has anybody tried the above (or indeed any other 4XBRI cards) successfully
with Asterisk. As far as I can see the above mentioned card is an active
ISDN card but supported by it's own I4L driver. This leads to interesting
questions particularly regarding echo cancellations (which usually doesn't
work on the cheap passive cards with one exception as far as I can see).

chan_capi, Eicon Diva server BRI, kernel 2.6?
Hi list,
Does chan_capi work with kernel 2.6? The Eicon Diva server card loads
fine judging from /var/log/messages but Asterisk gives an error when
trying to load the chan_capi module. I'm using chan_capi-0.3.5,
zaptel-1.0.0, libpri-1.0.0 and asterisk-1.0.0 on a Fedora box with
kernel 2.6.8-1.584. Zaptel and ilbpri work fine as does *. I have seen a
msg that may be related and don't know

chan_capi and Eicon Diva
I am trying to use chan_capi with an Eicon Diva Server BRI.
I installed the Eicon drivers from source including CAPU and
I can use the board correcly using tty_test and minicom over /dev/ttyds01
or /dev/ttyds01.
I need to insmod capi ( why? it is not written anywhere) and then
capiinfo shows me all board parameters, but I have to break it otherwise
capiinfo doesn't exit at all, but I don't

[Sorta OT] Eicon DIVA with asterisk@home
Hi;
I've got an AAH installation where a customer wants to install an active
Eicon DIVA BRI card. AAH is built on Centos 3.5 which is currently at
kernel 2.4.21.37. Support for Eicon active cards is built-in.
I've debugged and run the A@H install-Eicondiva script but when I try to
run divactrl load -c 1 -f ETSI -Debug I get a response :
A: can't get card type for DIVA adapter

Distorted audio over Eicon Diva Server BRI
We are experiencing slightly distorted audio with playing of recordings on
our Asterisk server when the call comes in over our Eicon Diva Server BRI
card. An example is an incoming call to IVR and playing some of the standard
Asterisk voice prompts. Note that there is no audio problem with internal
access to the same recording. Neither is there a problem with calls not
involving the playing of

SV: SV: QSIG, Asterisk and Eicon DIVA
I have read most of Eicons information on Q.SIG, and I am able to load the Q.SIG protocol (instead of ETSI for example). No strange logging in divacrtl mlog.
But how do I tell Asterisk to understand Q.SIG?
My PBX is configured for QSIG, but I cannot see anything on my trace when trying to make a call via the S0(Q.SIG)

Error compiling Eicon Diva from source
Hello everyone,
I'm having some errors while compiling the source code for an Eicon
Diva BRI card.
I am using Fedora Core 6 with a compiled from source Linux kernel
2.6.19. I have downloaded the Eicon Diva source RPM
(divas4linux_EICON-106.12-1.i386.rpm) and installed it already.
When I go to /usr/lib/eicon/divas/src/ and run ./Build, everything
starts correctly until that part where it has

some EICON Diva 4BRI questions
Hi!
I have some (short) question about the Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards I want
to have (short) answered before buying the DIVA card. I know there are
several Eicon guys active on the list, thus I ask on the list instead of
directly to Eicon so that all other will benefit as well.
1. Do Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards support TE and NT mode?
2. Can the clock (master/slave) be configured independent

CAPI Installation Eicon Diva Server
Hi
I've got a dell 2550 with an Eicon Diva server PRI card plugged into it.
I can call out using the acopy2 test utility.
I'm having trouble with asterisk making calls however... my capi.conf
and modules.conf looks correct by the wiki instructions - does anyone
have any advice on where to look ? I can attach conf files etc. if
needed.
Asterisk says it has 30 capi channels available,

Compilation problem chan_capi and Eicon Diva 4Bri
Hi *,
I want to integrate the Eicon Diva 4Bri Card to Asterisk.
Eicon drivers and capi is installed. I use the latest dev version from
eicon compiled and installed for my fedora 2 system.
I found the chan_capi for asterisk from www.junghanns.net. Also loaded
the patch and applied to the chan_capi source tree.
I changed the Makefile to include the capi20.h from eicon:

chan_capi & Eicon Diva problem
Hello,
I have an issue getting the chan_capi module to load in asterisk cvs
from today. Plain 2.4.20 kernel with melware patches for the Eicon Diva
Server Bri card.
I load the modules with: modprobe -v divas divacapi
I load the firmware with: divactrl load -c 1 -f ETSI -vd6
Output in /var/log/messages is:

It is supported in the kernel as an isdn4linux device but I can't find "Modem"

EICON Diva 4BRI
Are there any step by step instrunctions on how to install drivers and I
guess bristuff for this card?
Just need to use it to handle voice on 2 BRI circuits (UK) then utilise
with Asterisk and some Digium cards handling POTS phones (and some VoIP
out the back).
It's the EICON card stuff and how to make it all work I'm finding
confusing?

Hello all,

Eicon equipment, BRI Server or PRI?
Hello Everyone,
I am once again wondering about EICON. I have had no success with the
Diva Pro or Diva Pro PCI, so my question is, does anyone use an Eicon
Server BRI card on Asterisk? Or would I be better off trying to get a
split PRI?

EICON DIVA - which linux kernel
Hi!
I've bought the EICON DIVA V-2BRI card an begin installation soon. Are
there any issues with certain kernels? E.g. the standard debian kernel
2.4.27-2-386 and kernel-image-2.6.8-3-686. Further current kernel
2.6.16.14 would be an option.
Thanks

Eicon Diva Server - Fax and data modem support
Would any one advice how implement Diva Server BRI or PRI card to
support fax and data modem? In Eicon's website, it says that they
support these. But there is no FXS port on the card, how it can be
connected to Fax machine or data Modem?
Thanks in advance.

multiple EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards with Asterisk - possible?
Hello,
I'm thinking of deploying Asterisk.
I already have a handful of EICON Diva 2.01 PCI ISDN cards.
I was thinking if it's possible to insert 4 such cards to my PC-Asterisk
server (which I yet have to install) and use them as 4 lines in case
anyone has to call me in / I have to call out using ISDN line(s)?
Any reply appreciated.
