Working Asterisk with Austrian ISDN p2p
Hi! I'm looking for someone who has successfuly setup an asterisk in austria with isdn in p2p mode and chan_capi. There is is a special problem in austria with DID. If someone is dialing the phone number of the asterisk pbx like 12345-0, zero is passed as an DID, but in Austria u can dial 12345, and the DID which is passed is empty. It seems that asterisk cant handle this. Any ideas?

X100P installed OK, after added TDM400P Asterisk would no longer start
Hello I setup Asterisk@Home with purely VoIP and it worked fine. I then added an X100P card so I could call out / take inbound calls via PSTN and that went fine. But I have just added a TDM400P card (specifically a TDM30B) and now problems. Here is some of the output. Any ideas on what I should be looking at next? When I run genzaptelconf -s -d I get lots of erors on screen - bit I can

Q: Status of feature Call Deflection / Partial Rerouing in chan-capi and zaphfc
Hello, AFAIK the feature CD (call deflection) is only possible on point-to-multipoint links, is this correct? I've heard about the feature "partial rerouting" which should do the same on point-to-point-links. Is this implemented in either bristuff or chan-capi(-cm)? Thanks in advance, Karsten

Hello Armin, hello List I'm trying to get chan_capi working with asterisk from debian stable (asterisk 1.0.7, the debian version number is 1:1.0.7.dfsg.1-2). I managed to get it compiled by providing my own version of ast_copy_string. This is an Austrian PTP line. I can do outgoing calls fine (no comprehensive tests yet). For incoming calls, I'm getting "No answer" on the

ISDN, AVM C4, HFC-cards and echo
Hello, I've been using * for quite a while using AVM C4 card and a few Grandstream Budgetone 102 hard phones plus couple of HandyTone 286. Echo is a big problem. I am getting used to it, but some users complain. Anyone has experience w/ regards to echo comparing the AVM C4 with two HFC-cards? Before shelling out time and money, maybe someone else already has done so, and could tell me if

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup.. Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels.. According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across

winbind / nss_winbind with Solaris with large amout of uses/groups
hi all ! I have compiled Samba 2.2.2 for Solaris 7 ( Solaris 8 also ) but found out that the "nss_winbind" support is available in source-code, but not after compilation. The neccessary entries in the Makefile after "configre" are missing !! Why ? I have got it to run and it works fine with a small amout of groups. But deploying this samba/winbind version to a Windows

I have a problem trying to install two avm fritz cards on one asterisk machine. I am using fcusb2 driver. 1 card works perfectly. I tried to recompile driver like it is described on this page but with no success. http://www.quiss.org/caiviar/Two-Fritzcards-HOWTO I think the problem is that i can not find this part of code. dev = pci_find_device (AVM_VENDOR_ID, AVM_DEVICE_ID, dev); if

Asterisk voicemail problem with isdn avm fritz!card
Hello everyone, I have Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7498 installed on a server (celeron 2.4 Ghz, 256MB) with a TDM40b a TDM04b and an avm fritz!card pci. I experience a problem with voicemail: my messages are good unless the incoming call comes from isdn, which means via the avm fritz!card. In this case (and in this case only) the message is disjointed and I can hear at most 1 second out of a 1 minute

ISDN Dialout
Hi, I am having some trouble with ISDN Dialout. Using a Netjet-s PCI Card. When in Minicom, the only way I can dialout is if i issue ATS18=1 First. Otherwise I get a BUSY message. So thats fine. But when I dialout from asterisk, I get an immediate hangup, so my guess is that asterisk is not issuing ATS18=1 to the ttyI device. Here are my configs, any input would be greatly appriciated.

ISDN Cards available in Australia
Hi, I'm after some ISDN card resellers in Australia. I've noticed the AVM cards should work well here, however I've found the reseller here has no website, is listed in Yellow pages as management consultants (??) and when I called quoted almost $400. Does anyone know where I can get the AVMs in Australia a bit cheaper or another card (not the Netjet) that works with Asterisk.

Hello For customers who need a small IP PBX to handle up to four ISDN lines (in France, so I guess that means EuroISDN) instead of a PC + Asterisk and an ISDN gateway box, has someone already played with the Atcom IP-4B? www.atcom.cn/IP-BRIM.html Any feedback appreciated.

Where to purchase ISDN (BRI) cards in Australia (preferably)
Hello all, I was wondering if anybody knows where one might obtain a PCI ISDN card supporting a single BRI for use with Asterisk in Australia (and using something like chan_capi). Because of the Isdn4Linux DTMF issue, I don't want one of those cards. I've already spent too much time messing about with my current card. I'm after something like the AVM Fritz! cards. I found one place
