Issue when reloading
Hello list!
I?m having an issue when reloading Asterisk, I?ve had this problem in
Asterisk 1.6.1.6 so I upgrade to 1.6.2.1 version, but I still have the same
error.
For example, I send a "reload" in Asterisk CLI and this is the output:

Just to let you know, our popular tutorial on setting up Asterisk for

extension mobility and CDR logging questions
I intend to add to my asterisk system a feature similar to cisco call
manager's extension mobility so that agents can log in to any phone
in the office and keep their profile (ex. the agent's specific
directory number). But before doing that, I need to confirm that
asterisk doesn't have a native solution for that (ex.

puppet not reloading server config
Hi,
I have a use case where the puppet server changes entries in the puppet
agent''s puppet.conf to redirect agents to a new server.
It changes
server=NEW_SERVER, environment_NEW_ENV, and reportserver=NEW_SERVER
in the puppet.conf file
on the next puppetrun call (with --listen option), the agent uses the new

Queue only ringing one agent at a time
Hello!
We are having an interesting problem with the queue. What is happening
is that no matter how many agents are logged into the queue, only one
phone will ring at one time. So, for example, if we have two agents in
the queue and two incoming calls. The first incoming call will ring on
one of the agent phones, but the second agent's phone will not ring
until the first agent picks up the

Agent timeout then Dial() ?
Hello,
I have agents / queues working to the extent that agents can login, logout and I
can send a caller into the queue and the logged in agent's phones will ring.
Maybe I've spent to much time googleing and reading and my eyes are crossing
now, but what I am trying to do is this but cannot find any reference to it.

Possible Agent Bug found while upgrading from Asterisk 0.7.1 to 1.0.9

I have been running an Asterisk 0.7.1 (patched with various agent
applications) server for almost 2 years.
We have a data center in the USA and a call center in the UK. All calls
are routed to a group of central call queues in the USA. Agents from the
data center, call center and from remote locations (London, Scotland,
LA, Florida, and Maine) can log in, join the call queue and pick

Agents without agent channel
Has anybody used the dialplan, "Agents without agent channel" found at
<http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Agents+without+agent+channel#comments>
Did it work for you? Did it need much customization.
I already note that it requires a res_perl routine (or the removal of the
call to same.
Anyway, if anybody has used it, I'd like to ask you a few questions.

asterisk 1.4.21.2 a caller waited in queue, after connect to agent hears silence
Hi all!
My problem is that calls being placed in the queue, and are waiting
while the agents are busy, when an
agents is then free they gets connected to the agent but there is
silence (no voice).
If a caller has not to wait in the queue, there is no problem.
My agents have an iax2 client, and imcoming calls are over SIP.

Queue member (Agent) does not Dial
Hi All,
We are using Asterisk 1.2.18 in a CentOS box. Implemented a queue
(maqueue) structure for handling customer calls. There are 4 queue members
(85744,85766,85511,84888). These 4 members are logged in using
AgentCallbackLogin application. But at some point, one of the agent's SIP
phone does not ring for an incoming call to this queue. I checked the agent
status and it is not in paused

Agent Logoff inability when calls are being received from queue

I have started using Asterisk in a call center with ACD.
I have noticed something and I wonder if anyone knows whether it is a
bug or a feature!
I am using Queue application to ring a number of agents that have logged
on using AgentCallbackLogin.

Asterisk 1.8 -- queue not recognizing that agent is busy
Hi All,
I've got a realtime queue in place (strategy is "wrandom"), and have
added a member dynamically via "queue add member ". My agent shows in
the queue, but when he gets the call is not recognized as "In Use".
Here is the output from "queue show" prior to the call:

Agent Penalty
Can anyone shed any light on an issue with agent penalties?
I have 2 queues set up with agents working both queues, but where agent
1 should have a penalty for queue 2 and agent 2 should have a penalty
for queue 1. When a call is sent to either queue, it rings agents with
and without penalties at the same time.
I set up a second system and cannot replicate the issue on the test

ssh-agent clustering
Hi.. I've looked through all the documentation and searched numerous
websites and I can't find any viable current way to cluster ssh-agents.
The functionality gap I see is to allow a situation where 2 ssh-agents are
running on 2 different trusted machines. If one of those machines goes down
passwordless logins should be allowed to continue through the backup

Chanspy Specifying Agent not Working
I use chanspy to listen to agents for QA. It works great for listening
to random conversations. * works to switch between calls.
I cannot however specify the agent I want to listen to. I dial the
agent's extension and press # but get connected to some random
conversation, not the one I dialed.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Rails 3.1 , jQuery, link_to to a partial without reloading page
In the index page i want to place a link (for registered users only)
that show''s the User.all in a partial on a div without reloading the
whole page.
But since i don''t know jquery... is there a code or a tutorial online?
I read that before it was possible with remote=> true but since rails
3.1 switched to jquery and added the assets directory i have no idea
how to do it.
