Red Alarms - FXS(Signalling Q)
I am having a problem with Red Alarms on X100P cards.
The most frustrating thing is I can not duplicate the alarms, therefore
am not sure how to solve it. I have read after searching posts and the
web that you can try different signaling methods which may help
alleviate the problem.
There is fxsks (Which I am currently using), fxsgs, and fxsls

Sparc hardware, Linux and X100P REVISITED
I was studying the asterisk-users list archives
to learn if anyone has had success with an X100P on a
sparc. I noticed some postings on the subject. I am
wondering if anyone has learned anything new?

zapata.conf for non pri T1?
Hi again, I'm trying to setup our non pri T1 (they call it a Long Distance
T1), our current pbx has the signaling set to E&M, I can set em in
zapata.conf, but I'm trying to track down the proper entries for the
zaptel.conf file. The digium docs only show a PRI example. Our current
system has these settings:
Signalling: E&M
Framing mode: ESF

Norstar ATA2 signalling protocol?
Does anyone know which signalling protocol works when connecting the
output of a NT8B90AL Norstar ATA2 analog terminal adapter to an FXO
card? (fxsks, fxsgs, fxsls?)
I'm trying to add an Asterisk branch to my Norstar PBX as outlined at
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Nortel.

arris tm502g cablemodem FXS ports and zaptel 1.4.8
Hi there,
I have a cablemodem, ARRIS brand, model tm502G. It has two FXS ports.
I was wondering if anyone has details about the correct signalling of
these FXS ports when connected to original X100p.
Tests:
fxsks on the zapata.conf and zaptel.conf files. From my cellphone I
call the ARRIS, it starts ringing but the zap channel sees no call
coming in.
fxsls on the zapata.conf and zaptel.conf

TDM400P GroundStart Problems
Hello,
I am having problems configuring a TDM400P 4 Port FXO card with
groundstart signalling. The box has 2 X100P's, 1 TDM04B and 1 TDM40B. I
can configure it for loopstart and it works, just not groundstart, which I
need for this installation. What am I missing?
Thanks!
Mark

ZapATA channels up, but calls cannot be made
I have a issue with two Zap clone cards where they used to work.
I am using Asterisk@Home 2.5 which includes Asterisk 1.24 and Zaptel
drivers 1.2.4. The system is a new Intel Celerion machine. I used to
have the same cards running in a Intel PIII system. in this system,
they worked. In this older system, I was able to call into the
machine and call out from it. Now that I have upgraded

Echo on Zaptel FXO :(
Hi All,
I've got an MD3200 modem which is working as a Zaptel FXO interface for
Asterisk (X100P clone I believe). It seems to work, but on incoming or
outgoing calls I can hear the other party ok but when I speak, I hear
my voice echo back at me (quite quietly but it's distracting!) on
everything I say. The other party doesn't seem to hear the echo - they
just say I sound a bit quiet.

Re: zapata with Tiger3XX compilation error
Ok so I read the Linux 2.6 related README and finally
compiled propperly, I thought but at the end I notice
that lscpi does report the cards, but I cant modprobe
wcfxo nor zaptel and I do have wcfxo.ko in the
/lib/modules/2.6.8/extra/ directory, so what gives?
This is a Debian Sarge, thanks!

[Asterisk 1.2 + TDM FXO] Incoming call not detected
Hi
On an old IBM Netvista thinclient, the TDM card doesn't detect
incoming calls, although the card seems to be detected, and correctly

FXS interfaces
Hi all,
Does somebody know why no load modules to FXS? I used zaptel-1.0.7
version driver.
[root@server1 zaptel-1.0.7]# modprobe wctdm
ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 3: Invalid argument (22)
Did you forget that FXS interfaces are configured with FXO signalling
and that FXO interfaces use FXS signalling?
