Zaphfc.ko module error
Hi Guys I have been running a test server for a few days now with * 1.0.9 bristuff RC8n. I had a power failure and the test machine was not on the ups. When power was restored I found the following error: FATAL: Error inserting zaphfc (/lib/modules/2.6.11.4-20a-default/misc/zaphfc.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) My dmesg output: zaphfc: unsupported

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list! On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n. Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc driver. First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok. Now for

Quad BRI with Fedora, anyone?
We have a QuadBRI ISDN card from Digium. We would like to make it work with Fedora Core 4 (maybe FC3), but haven't succeeded. Compilation of bristuff from the Digium homepage fails, both the stable version with asterisk 1.0.9, and the experimental version with asterisk CVS-HEAD. Has anybody here succeeded to make this work? Or could we even be so lucky that somebody made RPMs for this? Lars

zaphfc syslog flooding
Hi, my zaphfc is flooding my syslog with two messages (even without asterisk running). Is this "normal"?: -------------------------------------------------- zaphfc: bchan rx fifo not enough bytes to receive! (z1=1360, z2=1353, wanted 8 got 7), probably a buffer overrun. zaphfc: dropped audio (z1=2712, z2=2695, wanted 8 got 17, dropped 9). With Asterisk running (asterisk -vvvvvgc)

ISDN D-channel disconnects for a minute every 5 minutes
I have a problem with Asterisk-bristuffed using a zaphfc card. I am located in the Netherlands, so I have an ISDN line from KPN. When I start Asterisk, and plug in the ISDN line, everything works perfectly for about 5 minutes. And then the ISDN line is down for 1 minute, and after that minute, the line comes back up and works for another 5 minutes. Every time the line goes down I get the error

Zaphfc and BRI problems in Portugal...
Hi - Anyone using zaphfc cards (bri-stuff-0.0.2) on a Portugal Telecom BRI service? I am getting loads of errors and the audio is very distorted all the time. System is a Dell PIII/933 MHZ with SCSI. Here in the UK we have perfect audio with a Compaq PIII/500 MHZ SCSI system. Files are identical in both systems as below: Is there anything magic about Portuguese ISDN? The PCI bus in the

Multiple ISDN BRI Units with Asterisk using Bristuff zaphfc in NT mode?
Maybe this is rather a hardware question, but I am posting it on this list because the probability of someone else of you having tried this is greater here than other places I can think of. I have an ISDN card that is setup in NT mode using the zaphfc driver in bristuff, and I got it working perfectly with one ISDN phone using a crossover cable and 100 ohm termination at the end of the cable.

BRI Error with zaphfc
Hi I have a small ISDN PABX , (BRI) at home - Siemens Gigaset 4175 which has cordless DECT extensions. I have set up asterisk on FC3 with two HFC cards and I am using the latest bristuff. I am trying to use * between my ISDN line and my PABX. One card is in TE mode and can receive and make calls OK. I can make and receive external calls to a SIP phone. I cannot get the other card to talk to my

bri stuff and unknown signalling type
I've downloaded and compiled zaphfc and libpri. To do that i've downloaded bri-stuff and commented out the asterisk related stuff because i've installed it from a debian package. Does this means that i have to rebuild the whole asterisk thing to support zaphfc? thanks ciao

florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours (console will complain about bad frame received something). It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch. Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

Call inband progress indication and zaphfc
Hello all, I've a little clue with zaphfc used to connect to a BRI linethat probably can be a configuration issue.... (really I hope so) Here, telcos (expecially mobile operators) use to substitute the dialtone with some vocal indication without answer the line. (Indications like "The customer is not reachable" or "wait because the customer is on the phone" ecc..) For

How to let ZAPHFC work with and act on different incoming MSNs?
Hi all, I'm struggling some time now with this problem. Googling and searching on this topic did not deliver the answer yet, so my last hope is this list. Analogue to the things which are possible with modem.conf, where I can configure the MSN's to act on, I would like to have similar functionality. This is the idea: I have 1 ISDN line, it can be reached by 4 different MSN's. I have
