I tried adding wwww to my dial string... It appears to not made any differnece. I see by watching show channels that the w's are there in the dial. I have this box connected to bell south down in georgia. I have an identical box connected in indiana. The box in indiana works fine when dialing out. Hello, I am having some problems with faxing in asterisk. I have a TE100P which is taking my PRI. This seems to be working fine. I also have a TDM400P with 2 FXS. Again card seems to be working fine, I can dial from phones attached to these to ports and everything seems to work fine. I changed from a TE410P to a TE411P and fax carriers weren't detected anymore ! I have tried everything (recompile zaptel+asterisk+spandsp ; echocancel=yes/no ; rxgain=0/txgain=0 ; increase Wait() ; ...), nothing worked. The only solution that worked for me was to install and use NVFaxDetect. HTH.

I have seen conflicting references in regards to the Digium Wildcard TE411P echo settings in zapata.conf. Does anyone have the official word on this? Should echo cancel be enabled in zapata.conf if the card has built in EC? If so, should a particular EC method be compiled into the zaptel build?
