No Caller Name sent from Asterisk over National or DMS100 PRI to a Norstar MICS?
I have a PRI link up and running between Asterisk and a Nortel Norstar MICS
v4.1 . I'm having a problem getting the textual Caller Name across the link
from Ast to Ns, however numeric Caller ID arrives and displays fine. From Ns
to Ast both elements come through fine. I'm forcing dummy values for testing
using:
exten => s,1,SetCIDName(Test)
exten => s,2,SetCallerID(1234561234)

No Caller Name sent from Asterisk over Natio nal or DMS100 PRI to a Norstar MICS?
All good information, thanks. However this is private network between
Asterisk and a Norstar MICS about six feet away. So I'm holding both ends of
the link.

dialing out with the outgoing queue problem.
Hi,
I have cvs updated all my modules (zapata, libpri, zaptel and asterisk).
I have also read in the archives & seems that no-one has run into this
problem.
What I'm trying to do is simple. Just make and outbound call using the
/var/spool/asterisk/outgoing directory.
I copied /usr/src/asterisk/sample.call and only changed the context &
extension.
I configured my Zap1 to the same

T1, Rhino, & Nortel
Hi all,
I'm trying to insert a Rhino Ceros box equipped with a Rhino R2T1
dual-T1 card and running the latest version of Trixbox (2.4.2) between
the central office and a Nortel Option 11. The switch at the CO is a
DMS100. Basically, I'm taking the T1, connecting it to port 0 on the
R2T1 card, and then connecting port 1 to the Nortel. (Actually a CSU and
then the Nortel) We're running

PRI dropped calls w/ asterisk dropped between pstn & norstar
Hi,
I dropped an asterisk server with a TE405P between a Norstar Meridian
PBX and it's PRI PSTN connection. Everything seemed to work fine
using a pass-thru-type dialplan configuration... except now we've
realised that outbound calls to celphones get dropped upon connect,
but not on every call (almost always the first try, but not the
second). All other calls to non-celphones had no

ISDN PRI "calling number" for outgoing calls
hi!
I have a question of ISDN PRI "calling number" setting for outgoing call. I
need the receiver to see the CLI that I have set. Eventough I've set the CLI
as below, the receiver keep on getting a fixed number( used with the PRI to
receive incoming calls). My ISDN PRI E1 provider says he has not done any
restricions on the custom CLI side.

E100P : Pb with outgoing calls
I use a E100P in France with a french operator E1. I can receive calls via
the E1 and tranfer them to a VoIP phone, play IVR etc ....
But outgoing calls doesn't work at all. I receive a RELEASE COMPLETE just
after the SETUP.
There is no pb with the operator (the E1 work well with an other Pbx).
Here a call trace.
Anyone have an idea ?

QuadBRI: How to set the outgoing callerid (KPN - NL)
Hello all,
Recently I purchased an QuadBRI card from junghanns.net after some
playing around, reconfiguring dialplans etc with the exception of 1
thing everything seems to work:
I seem to be unable to set the outbound callerid. The dutch telecom
operator (KPN) provided me with 4 MSN's on 1 BRI interface. In the past
years I'm more then used to setting the MSN without the leading 0, this

Problem with meetme monitor (recording)
Hi,
I tried to use Monitor(wav, filename) function in dialplan to record Meetme
conference. When I monitored on IAX2 or SIP channels in that conference It
recorded all audio (in and out) but when I monitored on ZAP channels I could
hear only IN audio and piece of OUT audio (announcement get pin and than
nothing).
Anyone knows why this so happens??? I have asterisk 1.0.7 (debian package)

Problem with just one number!
I have this setup:

Calling a number (just one!) - an automatic responder (IVR) -
from VoIP phones works, from analog phones doesn't work:

I'm using no 'r' in dial options (this caused a problem with an IVR some

Wildcard TE410P still making trouble
We are still having problems getting a Wildcard to work with a German E1
(PMX) interface.
When starting asterisk it shows all B-channels starting up successfully
(although our carrier told us only the first B-channel starts, if any at
all).
Incoming calls are not being signaled at all. (They seem to be intercepted
by the carrier's switch, as no B-channel is up)
Outgoing calls sometimes work,

priindication passthru TE410P EuroISDN?
Hi all,
I have to asterisk-1.0.9BRIstuffed-0.2.0n boxes each equipped with a TE410P.
Box A is connected with pri1 to the PSTN.
Box B is connected with pri1 (cpe) to the Box A at pri2 (net).
Now I want Box B to dial out to the PSTN tunneled thru Box A
and have it get all ISDN indications in case of call failure, eg.
unallocated destination number etc.
But currently Box B always gets only

DTMF with HFC-S, not supported yet?
Salve,
I'm somewhat stuck on how to get DTMF working with my setup
and googling didn't yield anything similar.
My setup consists of one CAPI-capable board (AVM Fritz!DSL)
connected to a BRI (T-ISDN), one HFC-S board running in NT-mode
connected to an internal S0 bus with some ISDN devices (DECT
stations, TA) and, of course, some ethernet interfaces. ISDN
standard used is Euro-ISDN.
