ZAP Hook flash / recall on active zap interface
Hi there, I have a x100p card in an asterisk box. Does anyone know if it's possible to do a hook flash / recall on an active zap channel? On what I'm trying to do... >From an ordinary analogue pstn telephone I can call someone, press recall, call someone else, press recall 3 & presto we're on a three way chat, with me only using one line - using the telephone company's

Send flash through zap channel
Hi everyone, our setup includes a NEC PBX connected to our asterisk via bri lines. The NEC has a doorphone feature, which is just an extension that calls you when someone rings. When connected to this extensions, a 'flash' signalling opens the door. So now, i'd like to trigger this from asterisk, too, but unfortunately wasn't able to do so. Setup: asterisk

Flash on X100P does not really flash.
Problem: Flash on X100P does not flash. Phone line has Call Transfer. With this line plugged into a regular phone, it can receive a phone call. Then, depress the hook momentarily, release. Dialtone is now available. Dial a different number. Call is answered. Hook Flash again, now in a three way call. Hang up. The other two parties are still in communication. Now, plug same line into the X100P.

asterisk 1.4 and zap channel flash
Hi. I am having a problem with asterisk 1.4 and flashing a zap fxo line on a tdm 400p. in 1.2 I was able to type *0 after flashing the hook on my extension if it were talking to a zap fxo line, the fxo would flash and I could pick up call waiting or whatever -- now in 1.4 this does not work. Do I have to do anything in features.conf to fix this or what? Thanks much. -- Your life is like a

transfers with zap channel
Ok, I've seen discussion before on doing transfers (attended and unattended), there seems to be much confusion over it. As things sit, I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to do transfers with a zap channel (analog phone attached to TDM400). I have no idea what I'm missing. My current understanding is that I need to have transfer=yes in zapata.conf, do a flash hook, dial the 2nd

Flash zap trunk from Softphone or IP Handsets...
Hi Guys!! I wrote a little patch for asterisk 1.2.5 and I will maintain it for future release unless somebody explains me how we can ask people at Digium to add it to the source tree... We are planning on using Asterisk as our main PBX for the office over the next few weeks. Our current setup uses TDM400 cards to bring our 8 lines into Asterisk, our Telco provides us an option for three

Can't transfer with Zap and SPA-2000
I am having trouble getting transfers to work when a zap channel is part of the call. I have a couple SPA-2000's and some X100P cards as my setup. This is what I'm trying: Dial number from phone: -- Executing Dial("SIP/206-2c61", "Zap/1/#######") in new stack Currently on call: -- Called 1/####### Press flash to place call on hold with SPA-2000: --

Flash Zap trunk from a Sipura
Hello, In my quest to create several proof of concepts for what can be done with Asterisk, I've run into a bit of a problem. I have a pair of SPA-2000's acting as off premise extensions for an analog line. When a call waiting call comes in, the caller id information makes it though the ULAW codec and displays on the caller id box, however asterisk doesn't seem to want to pick

using built-in extension numbers on the ZAP channel
hello, using a legacy PBX to access a Asterisk Zap channel (Legacy PBX FXS --> FXO application Asterisk/TDM400P) I want to be able to "flash" the asterisk pbx. However by pressing the FLASH button on the extension connected to the Legacy PBX gets me the flash features on the Legacy PBX, not on the Asterisk PBX side. I thought of using the following codes (listed below) from

Zap channels stuck in 'Rsrvd' state
I have two Adtran 750's connecting our analog phones to asterisk. On occasion, I get a channel that gets "stuck" off hook. 'show channels' shows: Zap/27-1 (longdistance s 1 ) Rsrvd (None) (None) And will just stay like that until the phone is manually picked up and hung up again (or asterisk is stopped/started). I guess this is a function of an unclean hangup (being

Dialling Hook Flash on Zaptel
Hi, I'm trying to get my X100P to Dial the following sequence to gain access to speed dial numbers on my Norstar PBX that the X100 is connected to... [FLASH] [*] [0] [22] (where 22 is the speed dial number) But so far I've had no luck, with the following extension:- exten => 922,1,Flash(${DIALOUTANALOG}) exten => 922,2,Dial(${DIALOUTANALOG}/*022) exten => 922,3,Congestion

How to Flash() a modem line
Hello! I'd like to Flash() a modem line (BRI) with Asterisk. It is a passive ISDN-card connected to a hardware PBX. I use ISDN4Linux. I recognised that unfortunately the Flash() application flashes Zap devices only. Now I am wondering how I could flash Modem/ttyI0. The source code chan_modem.c doesn't contain anything about flashing a modem line. So I tried to simply put the AT-command

Flash hook & hangup problem
Hello. I'm trying to transfer calls from an analog phone (Zap/1, TDM400P card) to some other terminal connected to my Asterisk PBX. If I make a flash hook pressing the phone hangup button quickly it works as expected, I get a new dialtone and the other side is put on hold. But I would like to use my phone's "R" key instead for some different reasons (it's quite easier to use

flash transfer problem in asterisk integration with old PBX
I've tried to transfer a call using the Flash command, but with my configuration it doesn't work. I have a traditional PBX connected with a zap channel to Asterisk that acts like an IVR: TELCO line --> traditional PBX (FXS) --> (FXO) Asterisk >From the TELCO line I can make a call to the traditional PBX and reach Asterisk, the IVR system on Asterisk answers the call and I can

blind transfer on hook-flash from SIP phone
Hi, I have a SIP phone which does not natively support SIP transfers (REFER etc...). So far all that is possible is to enable blind transfers using the t and T arguments in Dial from the # DTMF key. The phone has an R button on it and this can be setup to either send an RFC2833 hook flash message (value 16) or a SIP INFO message which you can edit the contents of (since there seems to be

Transferring Using Flash
Greetings. I am attempting to configure a system based on Asterisk 1.2.3 to be used as a backup should our aging voice mail/auto attendant system fail, which seems increasingly likely given its advanced years. The first part of this task is getting the auto attendant feature to work correctly, which I would have figured to be relatively easy. I have successfully built a menu structure, but cannot

Call waiting / hook flash on ZAP trunk from SIP phone?
Hello. After doing much web searching and searching archives of this mailing list, I see that my question has been asked at least 6 separate times but no answers have been attached. In a nutshell, is there a way for a SIP phone to easily hook flash a ZAP analog trunk mid-call? (This is important when trying to make use of features on a PSTN analog line such as call waiting, call forwarding,

A hook flash sent using RTP for telephony signals (RFC2833) does not flash zap channel
I just registered ID 0004283 at http://bugs.digium.com for the problem described in subject (found when using a Linksys PAP2-NA). I don't know where the proper forum is to discuss, so I'm hoping anyone interested will read the bug and let me know your thoughts, either at bugs.digium.com, here, or by emailing me directly (or, please suggest another forum that is more appropriate). Call files timeout on Flash command
I managed to sort out my earlier query regarding flash times (changed delay in zapata.conf) Now, I am getting a timeout after the Flash command in an outgoing call-file based call: -- Attempting call on Zap/1/108 for 567112@demo:4 (Retry 1) > Channel Zap/1-1 was answered. -- Executing Festival("Zap/1-1", "Dialling now") in new stack == Parsing
