Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a
x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this
themselves?)
First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears
that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken.
The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4
box in the proper directory, the pure

Why would you want to do that? Sorry if I missed the start of the problem
but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you
want to stay with zaptel/libpri).

quadBRI PCI ISDN on Suse Linux 10
Hello,
I am trying to install the drivers for the Junghanns quadBRI card, but am
having a problem.
I have essentially followed the procedure from
http://www.voip-manager.net/installation-linux-asterisk.php.
At the stage to install the ISDN card I have completed the following:
1) downloaded the bristuff-0.2.0-RC8q.tar.gz to /usr/src
2) unpacked it in /usr/src - tar xvzf bristuff-0.2.0-RC8q.tar.gz

Hi,
I'm very new to asterisk and managed to set one up in debian, I

MeetMe Conference on Asterisk-1.4.13
Hello all,
I am planning to setup a MeetMe conference functionality on
Asterisk-1.4.13without having a Zaptel card. All users will be
calling through SIP only.
AFAIK, the said application needs a timer which makes use of the ztdummy
module. I have basically two (2) problems I am encountering here that [1] I
can't load the ztdummy.ko module and [2] Asterisk don't run when running it

bristuff - qozap dirver bug (and fix?)
Hi,
(cc. asterisk-users, hope that is not a big Faux Pas)
I've had trouble with the qozap driver for a LONG time now, where it
will not recognise and ignore a missing ISDN2 line on a quad card if
one of the 4 ports is unplugged or somehow faulty.
The symptom is that is correctly recognises the fault, but then clears
the RED ALARM almost immediately, leaving Asterisk thinking that it
can call

florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an
Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately
bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours
(console will complain about bad frame received something).
It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch.
Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but

Bristuff qozap drivers problem
Hi,
For a significant time now (since about 0.2.0-rc8n) the qozap driver
has become very verbose if an ISDN line is not connected... I get the
messages below every couple of seconds in the asterisk logs.
The "flaw" in the messages is the "Alarm cleared" message - The alarm
cannot possibly be cleared because there is no physical media
connected into that port!!! (BTW - All

Bugs on CentOS 5.0 x86
Well, here is my list of bugs, in case they were not reported before,
and in case these are not Upstream problems. Any suggestions about
fixing them would be welcome.
1) Under GNOME (I have KDE installed too): I am logging in as a user,
and have kget and korgac to at start up programs, under Sessions and
often their icons show up on the left (sometimes one above the other),
instead of
