similar to: Cisco 7960 firmware upgrade promblems

I'm using Dial to place a call to a PBX. But then I want to wait a few seconds and dial an extension. Dial doesn't return until the call is disconnected though. I also want the caller to not hear any audio until the DTMF has been sent. This gets the caller to the right place and he doesnt have to hear the welcome message from the PBX. Dial apparently isnt the application to use. Is

I have 4 7960's that I am trying to get working but 2 of them will not update to the SIP image on my tftp server like the first ones did. i keep getting the error on the phone 'Defaulting CM to TFTP server' like it isn't seeing the *.bin on the server. are you supposed to have on of those for each phone? would be like cisco et al to do something like that. Hi, I have bought two Cisco 7960 phones. I have tried to set-up them to work with Asterisk over Skinny protocol, but when I try to dial the phone from Asterisk it says that all lines are busy. Chuck, The first thing I would do is to upgrade the load to version 6 or higher. I'm running the latest...version 7.2. (I'm very happy with it) Are you using TFTP to load the configuration or manually configuring the 7960? I know it's a pain to setup TFTP just for a quick test. However, it's well worth it. I found the problem, with SIP firmware image was 2.* large size SIPDefault.cnf leads to Buffer overflow, I kept firmware_version field and deleted rest. That helped in upgrading the firmware to higher version.

Hello list, i did a quite sucessfull net rpc vampire but one promblem remains. Everything is fine, but the user group memberships aren't restored. Only alle primary group member ships are restored. every user is in the primgrp (4126 Users). All Groups (2659) are restored including sids. but no membership is restored!
