Two zaptel T1 cards: no clock from one
List,
I have a TE410P (T1 mode, all PRI) and a T100P (fxoks, for fxs channel
bank). I cannot seem to get the T100P to send any clock to the
channel bank. I prefer that it use the same clock source as the
TE410P, but it doesn't matter if it's not in sync just as long as it's
there.
The TE410P is configured 3x pri_cpe, 1x pri_net. The three cpe go to

dahdi timing source multiple cards
I have a box with 12 T1s (4 Te410P cards). The PSTN provider is reporting
slips and ask me to update the clock source. I have my system.conf set as

up with syncsrc=1

TE410P hardware problems
TE410P card down.
I have three (3) TE410P in one machine running asterisk with SS7.
My problems started last week when one of my cards started switching to E1
every time after reboot. I set the following in dahdi.conf and that solve
the problem.
/etc/modprobe.d/
options wct4xxp t1e1override=0x00
Now all 4 ports on that card is down with Red Alarm. I tried rebooting the
machine and

TE410P problem (Looping UP Span 1...)
Hi list,
We have been trying to configure a Quad Span T1 card in a system running RH9. We have followed the instructions in the Wiki and searched the mailing lists, but so far havent got any success. Cable is connected to the first span, and module is loaded. Without loading the module the LED glows in red colour, but the moment we load module, it goes off. (No red or green) .
We ran zttool

Zaptel and Zapata Conf's
I'm a bit confused on how to setup Zaptel.conf and Zapata.conf when there is
a TDM400P and a TE410P installed after upgrade.
The TDM400P has 2 FXS in position 1 & 2 and 1 FXO in the fourth position.
I see boot, WCT4xxP loading first and WCFXS loading second.
According to my understanding, given above, the TE410P should be configured
first, then the TDM400P. However, I'm not sure

[Zaptel] Checking that TDM card works?
Hello
Since TDM cards are known for being particular when it comes
to motherboards (PCI 2.2, etc.), I was wondering if there is a utility
that can check that the Zaptel driver works OK and can tell if the TDM
card is compatible?
That way, if an FXO module is not reporting an incoming call, we'd
know it's because of the Zaptel driver, and not something elsewhere.
Are "dmesg",

Wildcard TE405P and TDM400 - TDM not working
Im having a problem getting the 2 cards working together.
I added the TDM with 3 FXO and 1 FXS board.
The TE405p is working fine. THe TDM registers and identifies the FXO's
and FXS but cant get them to go off hook.
I hope someone can help.
Asterisk seems to THINK its dialing it sends manager status as dialing,
and it just sits there with no tones, on the phone dialing out.

How does TDM work?
How does TDM work, how do you connect to it?
I have the impression it can't be routed like ethernet, but a cable from your
switch has to be plugged into the providers equipment.
I have seen the Asterisk info about TDMoE - does this mean that the Asterisk
card will modulate the signal on the Ethernet cable to allow it plug directly
into a proper TDM connection?
Will someone please enlighten

Telco Testing locks up asterisk
Over the last week we've been having issues on our Telco provided TDM T1
with the circuit bouncing for several seconds and restoring itself back
into service. The T1 is using a TE410P. On the CLI, I see message that
span 1 is yellow alarm, then restoring.
I reported this problem to the phone company. Afterwards, they do
several circuit tests to the NIU and then to the CSU. At the point

Mixing SIP/TDM in MeetMe
I sent a query about this before, but have some further information and am
hoping somebody has a suggestion as to what to try next to debug this.
I'm using an Asterisk box primarily for MeetMe conferencing. There are
two sources: TDM via two Q.SIG T1's and SIP phones. Conferencing works
fine between TDM channels. But when a SIP phone calls the conference,
there's no voice path *to*

Whats the '411' on echo cancellation?
Hello all,
I have a WildCard TE410P setup and working with a full PRI with the
latest CVS.
SIP and IAX2 gateways are accessing the PRI without issue, however;
echo is very
prominent in some calls and is only heard by the IAX2/SIP client. The
echo
Is not present in calls to cell phones because they are digital,
centrex land
Lines have a barely noticable echo, but analog lines aint so pretty.

T1 Card RED ALARM
Hello All,
I have a Digium Wildcard TE410P Quad-Span T1 Card, when I do connect T1
lines it goes in RED. When I do connect the same line on a different Server
(Same Model T1 Card) it works fine. How do I examine/diagnose my T1 Card
for any hardware failures. I heard about loopback test , how helpful it is?
Here are my configuration

TDM 400 hardware(?) issue
I am having to abandon asterisk after having used it for 2.5 years due
to this problem. Every couple of days (sometimes more often, sometimes
less), the machine will lock up because the TDM board or the Dahdi
driver goes south. /var/log/messages starts filling up with repeated
messages:
kernel: TDM PCI Master abort
The card I have is:

On an old IBM Netvista thinclient, the TDM card doesn't detect

Hot plug PCI?
The quick question: Do the digium drivers for the Digium Wildcard TE410P
(4 port T1/E1/PRI 3.3v card) , the T100P (single port T1), and the
TDM400P support hot plug PCI? I am also noting that while the TDM400P
doesn't state the voltage requirements, it looks like a 5v card. I hope
that I am wrong on this.
What type of T1 channel bank would people recoment for ISDN (for video

Dell PowerEdge + TDM
Hi,
what new Dell servers are compatible and KNOWN to work with Digium TDM
cards? I've looked at Digium's compatibility list
at http://www.digium.com/index.php?menu=compatibility. Does this mean
that other Dell servers like SC1420, SC1425, 800, 1800 are working just
fine with TDM cards?
Can someone clarify this?
Thanks
