AgentCallBacklogin (logout continued...)
Anyone know if - it is possible to limit 1 agent per extension where the last agent to log in overrides any previous agents or - a Command/application to clear all agents logged in on extension Does this look like it would require a custom mod to do it? MOH from RCA jack?
Been around asterisk for two-plus years, but need a little input from the list on this topic. Have a potential client that wants to replace their old key system with *, but they want to integrate a commercial message service (they pay a monthly fee to have special MOH messages generated) into their system. The messages are essentially delivered to this customer via older generation audio

frequence of patterns in a vector
Dear R users, Suppose I have a vector that consists of characters like ABC, A02, RCA, etc., and there are about 700 of possible characters. For example, x <- c("ABC", "ABC", "ABC", "A02", "ABC", "RCA", "ABC", "ABC") I'd like to get a frequency matrix that looks something like this: ABC 6 A02 1 RCA 1 I

AgentCallbackLogin (logout)
Hi Trying to get logout by dialling an extension sorted out. Thought the it worked was agent logs in and logs off on an extension clears any previous agents currently on that extension like: 1. agent 1 login to extension1 2. agent 2 login to extension1 3. agent 2 logout agent 1 and 2 logged out Is this how it should work? I am using current cvs. Thanks Jack agent => 0,,nullagent agent

Any IP phones with pro-audio connections?
Does anybody know of any IP phones (ideally SIP based) that have interfaces to plug into a pro audio system (eg for phone interviews). Something can probably be hacked up with a headset connector or the 1/8" jacks on a 7970 but I'm wondering if there's something better out there. Thanks, Julien

Reverse engineering USB devices
I'm pretty sure this is the wrong list, but maybe some clever people here can redirect me... I have a "RCA RS2100 Bookshelf Audio System" http://www.woot.com/blog/viewentry.aspx?id=2744 This is radio/CD/mp3 player... PLUS it can stream audio wirelessly. You plug a USB device into your PC and you can remote control what gets played from the RS2100 remote control ("Wireless

Winamp streaming to icecast2
Hello, I'm trying to set up winamp to stream a live event to an icecast2 server. I've got the icecast2 server set up, and to date have streamed playlists only via ices0 or ices2, now I'm wanting to stream live using winamp. Software wise, I'm needing to use free or open source software, the icecast2 server is a Linux machine, the Winamp will be on either a Win7 or a WinXP

Agent Call Back LOGOUT?
I can see how you log an agent in, but how to log one out? For login I think I'll have our people dial something like _8900XXXX, then use $(EXTEN:4} to get the callback extension automatically I can't find any better way at the moment, all my outgoing CID info needs to point to our main trunk line, but I'm not sure I can make that happen any other way than what I'm doing now

Network slowdown
Hello, I''m not subscribed to this list, but would like to ask a question. When I conduct a network speed test from the following location http://www.timewarnerla.com/speedtest/speedtest.asp with firewall started I get no more than 1 Mbps at best, while without one I get 4 Mbps. I have a RCA DCM325 cable modem from RoadRunner. I''m using Shorewall 2.2.0-Beta3. My OS is SuSe 9.1

FireWire in CentOS 5.3
I am being given a digital camcorder. It uses Mini DV tapes and either connects via typical RCA cables (IE to a tv) or via FireWire. I don't have the brand on hand, but I was told it can be ripped to DV like any standard FireWire camcorder (I believe dvgrab will be sufficient). I just installed an older FireWire card I have that I used at one point in Fedora for my iPod. It was a PITA

SQLite3 on 3 node cluster FS?
Hi, tl;dr summary of below: flock() works, but what does it take to make sync()/fsync() work in a 3 node GFS cluster? I am under the impression that POSIX flock, POSIX fcntl(F_SETLK/F_GETLK,...), and POSIX read/write/sync/fsync are all supported in cluster operations, such that in theory, SQLite3 should be able to atomically lock the file (or a subset of page), modify pages, flush the pages to

hardware ogg vorbis decoder
As it seems that the vorbis decoder is now stable with respect to format/features, would it be time to start thinking about a hardware implementation? I would be interested in pursuing this if some there is consensus on requirements. If there is some enthusiasm for it then a module could be set up on the opencores site for a gate-array decoder. cya, Andrew... --- >8 ---- List

Using RedirectAction with queues
Hello! Is it legal to use RedirectAction to redirect a call that is waiting in a queue? The idea is to have an external application manage a queue via manager API. The queue would merely collect calls and play moh. I've tryed this already but asterisk sends SIP/Forbidden to the channel in queue, after the channel has been redirected by RedirectAction, even though the response to

SQLite3 on 3 node cluster FS?
Raghavendra, Thanks very much for your reply. I fixed our data corruption problem by disabling the volume performance.write-behind flag as you suggested, and simultaneously disabling caching in my client side mount command. In very modest testing, the flock() case appears to me to work well - before it would corrupt the db within a few transactions. Testing using built in sqlite3 locks is
