Hi all, Yesterday, in an attempt to take back my phone room, I pulled everything apart as far back as the demarc and rebuilt it. In the process of putting things back together I accidentally connected my incoming lines to my FXS ports and my phones to my FXO ports. I quickly realized the mistake I made and corrected things but not before one of my FXS modules was smoked by incoming ring voltage.

Hello list, does anyone know how to change the "interdigit timeout" when using Cisco IP Phone 7940/7960 with SIP-Firmware and Asterisk? it's default value is 15 sec. but i have nothing found to set this in tftp-config file etc. Thanks in advance, Roland

is there a way to support login and logout functionality in a phone? We are using Cisco 7940 and 7960 phones and have 2 shift. Hi, I think this is one area that needs to be developed. I am curently implementing a system for my home so cannot really justify the cost of financially supporting the development of this when all I really need to do is buy a telephone extension lead for my existing fax modem!!!
