BRI Hunting, using both channels on one msn
Hello All,
Has anyone configured bri to answer for only one msn? In essence, when
the primary is busy I want to have channel 2 ring.
I am using an eicon diva server bri
I know I saw it in the windows interface, but don't see it in the linux
setup.

Verizon ISDN
I'm looking to use Asterisk with Verizon ISDN centex service in the US.
I'd be connecting to an NT1 so I'd need an S/T interface. Users would
have SIP phones registered with Asterisk and sharing the ISDN lines.
The only PCI ISDN card that will support ISDN signalling in the US seems
to be the Eicon Diva Server cards. These are hard to find and very
expensive ($2500 for the Quad

PRI dead in USA?
Hi-
Because a majority of my customers are in Europe, I've gotten quite used to
working with ISDN (PRI) and BRI on a regular basis. Recently one of my
customers asked me if I could terminate a few lines locally here in the USA
(California), so I called up SBC to enquire as to how much it would cost to
install a BRI here.
Although the rates were reasonable (except the installation), I got

ISDN BRI hardware
Hi,
Anybody have lots of experience with PCI ISDN cards and Asterisk? I'm
thinking of getting a BRI in my house to deliver more advanced signaling to
my PBX (yes, I'm a geek :-)) but I've never played with isdn4linux.
Is there any particular BRI card that works better with Asterisk than any
other?
Also, can the BRI interface cards participate in conference, etc., since
they

It depends on your environment. If there are still analog devices in addition to VoIP, I'd say
always, but Asterisk has a rudimentary echo canceller already on board. The Telcos use echo
cancellers themselves, but it cannot hurt to

Static on TDM Zaptel FXO
Hello All,
I recently put in a zaptel 1fxo/1fxs card. I am experiencing heavy
static.
Even with the pots line disconnected, if I do a dial I still get static.
This way I know it's not the line, but rather something on the card.
I tried alternate pci slots.
This card has a power connector, does anyone know what the power
requirements are? The unit is in a small case with a 2.4ghz p-4 and

Seeking advice about ISDN BRI Cards
Hi,
please whoever has some expertise in choice of BRI ISDN cards,
please restore my faith in community support :)
(on private email I can probably explain more than fits for a public forum)
Most I'd like to ask is about what to choose, out of what is available...
My locality is United Kingdom, lines from British Telecom (BT),
but any advice / pointers (I googled around already) are

ISDN BRI-U card suggestion for use in USA
Hello,
I'm looking for an ISDN BRI-U interface for use in the US. I'm primarily
interested in using the BRI as a trunking interface into the PSTN with
Asterisk. Naturally, cheaper is better.
I currently use a Nortel Norstar system with BRI-U trunks, and really like
the digital PSTN interface. Would really like to replace the whole mess with
Asterisk but want to keep the ISDN trunks.

Where to purchase ISDN (BRI) cards in Australia (preferably)
Hello all,
I was wondering if anybody knows where one might obtain a PCI ISDN
card supporting a single BRI for use with Asterisk in Australia (and
using something like chan_capi).
Because of the Isdn4Linux DTMF issue, I don't want one of those cards.
I've already spent too much time messing about with my current card.
I'm after something like the AVM Fritz! cards. I found one place

Seeking advice about ISDN BRI Cards
Checkout Beronet ISDN cards and Berofix Gateway (appliance or pci card)
Personally for my last installation I chose Berofix card which is rock
solid and reliable, yet easily configurable.
With berofix you don't need telephony drivers on the host system, the isdn
card is detected as a NIC and all configuration is done using a web
interface.
Then you configure FreePBX a new trunk to use the

ISDN Cards available in Australia
Hi,
I'm after some ISDN card resellers in Australia. I've noticed the AVM cards
should work well here, however I've found the reseller here has no website,
is listed in Yellow pages as management consultants (??) and when I called
quoted almost $400.
Does anyone know where I can get the AVMs in Australia a bit cheaper or
another card (not the Netjet) that works with Asterisk.

Japanese ISDN BRI card for asterisk (INS64) where to start?
Hi All,
I currently run asterisk in our office (in Japan) and use a cisco PRI
gateway for connection to the PSTN. I would like to setup some more systems
for our smaller offices (in Japan) that would use BRI and preferably using a
PCI card in the asterisk box and not a seperate Cisco gateway (expensive).
HOWEVER, Japan has this INS64 protocol for their BRI lines and im not sure

ISDN 4 BRI card for UK
Hello
I want to setup an Asterisk in several offices with 4 BRI ISDN. I am looking for recommendations on hardware. Criteria would be ease of setup, reliability and cost.
The Eicon 4 BRI cards seem fairly pricey. Shame Digium don't do a ISDN BRI card.

ISDN Card Types for Europe
What types of ISDN BRI cards work well in Europe (Guadeloupe, Martinique and
France) ? For example: AVM C2 or AVM C4 or eicon Diva server 4 BRI? Any

Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi,
I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a
single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI,
libpri and Asterisk 1.8?
For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build
Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is
supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

Is there any plans for Digium ISDN BRI card?
Yes, i know that there are many ISDN card on the market.
But when i spend money for ISDN card, i prefer to be Digiums, to get all
