0 channels configured with tdm400 (tdm04b rev. G)
Hi,
Some weird problem (or I'm too sleepy) happens with a tdm04B revision G (4fxo)
Steps:
modprobe zaptel
modprobe wctdm
ztcfg -vv
/etc/zaptel.conf
fxsls=1-4 # TDM04B
defaultzone=us
loadzone=us
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf
signalling=fxs_ls
group=1
context=incoming
channel => 1-4
modprobe zaptel and wctdm load fine, however ztcfg -vv shows:

TDM04B vs Dell
Hi all,
I've struggled for several days trying to get a Digium TDM04B 4-port
wxfco card working on a Dell 1U PowerEdge 750 machine running
Fedora Core 1. I finally got a call back from Digium who indicated that
there is a fundamental conflict between the card and the PowerEdge
having to do with PCI interrupts. Asterisk version is stable v1-0 12/29/04.
The symptoms of the problem were as

Strange Zaptel Modprobe driver failure
Hello, my first post to the list. I have started to install and play with
Asterisk. I was following some basic instructions to 'jump-start' my
system. I have a TDM400P with one port and a X100P.
I am running the latest CVS versions (from today).
Following the steps I found for basic jump-start I did the following:
Modprobe zaptel
Modprobe wcfxo
Modprobe wcfxs

TDM10B problem
Ok. I just got a TDM10B and it is in with my X100P. So as it says in the
provided instructions, I used the command
modprobe tor2
I get an error message saying that there is no such device.
My zaptel.conf looks like this:
fxsks=1
fxoks=2
So I load the X100P first. (modprobe wcfxo)
Then I load the TDM10B (modprobe tor2)
Then I'm told that the device doesn't exist.
Please help

How to load the driver of TDM400P card!
Hi!
I have just bought the X100P and TDM400P cards to install on my computer
to implement the PBX. I also downloaded the newest softwares
asterisk_ver0.5.0, libpri_ver0.4.0, and zaptel_ver0.7.0) to install on
my computer (Red Hat Linux 8.0). All packages are compiled well. When I
use "modprobe" to load drivers (modprobe zaptel, modprobe wcfxo,
modprobe
wcfxs), the first two (zaptel,

module help?
Need some help with modules.conf, and basic RH9 linux skills.
I've installed the new TDM04B 4-port FXO card and its working. After
a reboot, when I do lsmod I see the wcfxo module but not the wcfxs
even though both are listed modules.conf.
If I "modprobe wcfxs", then lsmod has both modules showing.
The wcfxs module is the last one in the modules.conf. Is the order

Module wcfxs - is it not part of astlinux?
Hello
I am (attempting) to run the astlinux version of Asterisk on a VIA embedded
platform. I have a TDM04B and pretty sure zaptel.conf and zapata.conf setup
OK. They worked fine with same card in traditional PC anyway.
I think need the module wcfxs for a Digium TDM04B card. Is this module not
part
of astlinux? Do I need to download it? Or is it in opt? I see wctdm - but

Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl'
I installed TDM400P and X100P pci cards in a system running mandrake 10.1
official, kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdksmp. I can compile zaptel, libpri, asterisk
and modprobe (zaptel, wcfxs, wcfxo) without errors. Except that running
ztcfg and asterisk fails.

Help Configuring TDM04B
Hi:
I had an fxo card from Digitnetworks and it was
working fine on my Asterisk box. I then replaced it
with TDM04B. I changed the zaptel and zapata to
include the four channels. When I run ztcfg, I get
configuration errors:

Channel 02: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 02)

FC3 + udev + Asterisk v1.0.3 - Temporary Fix
I haven't seen anybody so far post a complex fix for the udev problems on
FC3 with the latest kernel. On that note, I have a temporary fix to allow
zaptel to load somewhat normally. I found that modifying the zaptel script
to 1) load, unload, then load the driver modules and 2) insert a pause
between modules seems to allow things to work. This assumes you have
followed the instructions

ztcfg problems
Hello, I'm running Fedora Core 3 with udev, and asterisk/zaptel/libpri
from cvs. I have followed the README.udev instructions replacing insmod
with modprobe and rmmod with modprobe -r and adding the 60-zaptel.rules
file, yet no matter what I do I still get this error on boot(or when I
run service zaptel restart):
[root@pbx ~]# /etc/init.d/zaptel restart

I have the same problem in a box with 2 HFC-PCI, but i already remove the row in modprobe.conf and load the module manually.
Both cards works fine
Any idea ?

auto 'modprobe wct1xxp' on startup?
Hi guys,
Thanks for your answers on my two questions yesterday. That's exactly
what I was looking for, sorry for not noticing it myself, but I'm still
getting acclimated to Asterisk and even Linux--from what I see so far, I
love it.
I've got another one now. Since my Asterisk install and configuration
is fairly stable at this point, I'm interested it ensuring that during
