OT - SPA3102 not detecting CID - Which settings to tune ?
Hi, I'm connecting a Linksys SPA3102 to 3 different PSTN analog lines. With only one of those, CID is shown. Beside that, everything is working OK. Lines have different providers and/or locations. All are located in France and CID Detection Method is ETSI FSK / Bell 202. If I'm connecting a TDM400-enabled Asterisk system, to one of those 2 non-working lines : it does work. The only

TDM400 and TDM800 fxo stop answering
Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24. Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore it. I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1.2.19 and 1.2.20

TDM400 dropping loop current 10 seconds after answer
Hi everyone, I have a TDM400 configured with 4 FXS ports, each connected to a caller-id analog trunk port on a Nortel system. Outgoing calls work great. But on incoming calls it appears that loop current is getting dropped momentarily about 10 seconds after the call is answered. Since the Nortel system is programmed to recognize this as remote party hangup it is causing all incoming calls to

TDM400 seems healthy, but no dialtone??
Folks, I recently swapped a TDM400 FXS card that was working perfectly into a new server (running recent CVS), and it's either misbehaving (unlikely), or I've missed something obvious (much more probable). Everything seems to be working, but I can't get any dialtone from it when I plug a phone into any of the 4 ports!! All of the jacks are lit (green lights) but they all seem dead

Telco MWI Detection on TDM400 Interface?
I use a TDM400 card to interface with my telco. I used asterisk voice mail. However, if I'm on the telco line while another call comes in, obviously it cannot go to asterisk voice mail but instead bounces to the Telco voice mail. Is there any means by which I can get asterisk detect the Message Waiting Indicator (MWI) from the telco? Is there some application or variable which can be

Problem: Digium TDM400 with XOptionsFlex - Line Busy
Perhaps someone with more experience can help me solve this puzzle: Asterisk 1.4.18 on a Dell PowerEdge SC440, CentOS 5, 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5, Digium TDM400 with 3FXO(1-3) and 1FXS(4) Phone service is provided by XO Communications via their XOptionsFlex service (5 analog lines, 3 of which are used by Asterisk). For simplicity I refer to them as xx43, xx44, and xx45 - based on their phone numbers.

TDM400 FXO module not answering or dialing out.
Hi all, I have hit a wall configuring a TDM400, I have set these up before without issue but today I just can't seem to figure out what I am doing wrong. On an incoming call the following is produced in the Asterisk console with verbose 4 -- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/2-1' Mar 22 16:12:34 NOTICE[2051]: chan_zap.c:6063 ss_thread: Got event 18 (Ring Begin)... Major problems with TDM400 and specific telephones: suggestions?
Hello! Attached to the bottom of this e-mail is an edited version of an e-mail I originally wrote to Digium tech support regarding Ouch and Power alarm errors I have been receiving on my TDM400. It contains a great deal of detail regarding my setup. In the end, I have found that one of the 5 phones I'm trying to make work with Asterisk is contributing to the generation of these errors.

TDM400 hungup problem
Hi all, We have tested both tdm400 and BRI 1 port HFC based with mISDN driver and with both cards we have the same problem... so probably it's due to our misconfiguration, but we couldn't find anything useful on google. With TDM400 we can place and receive calls, but if we receive a call from TDM400 and we reject it from a sip phone , asterisk send the hangup but the line continue to

Brother 8360P fax cannot connect to TDM400
Hi, We've got troubles trying to connect a Brother 8360P to a TDM400 FXS board. Design is : PSTN ------ Junghanns QuadBRI --------- Digium TDM400 ----------- Brother fax As you can guess, QuadBRI and TDM400 are plugged into 1.0.10 Asterisk server. - from Asterisk console, we can observe calls reaching the fax machine but the fax never answer - when we substitute the fax with an analog

Caller Id problem
Dear List, My problem is that the incoming Caller Id is not displayed on the local analog phones (connected to a TDM400 card). I receive the CID correctly from my telco, but when I place the call to the internal analog line, the CID is not propagated. An interesting point: when I try to place a new call to an already bridged line, I see the second call with the CID on the analog phone. The

[France CID] Does Zaptel support ETSI FSK?
Hello I've been googling for a couple of days now, but still can't figure out what to put in zapata.conf to get it to report CID. Unless I'm mistaken, France uses ETSI FSK for CID method and bell 202 as CID FSK Standard: http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/7207/linksys3102cid1jj7.jpg http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/4625/linksys3102cid2ld5.jpg Does Zaptel support those on Digium

Config TE410P + TDM400
When configuring a TE410P which is only attached to a single E1 together with a TDM400, how should one count the channels for the next Zap interface? Must I put 4 span lines in zapata.conf and define all channels up to 124? thus having the TDM400's start at 125? Or can I comment out the 3 spans I don't use and start at channel 32 for the TDM400? (this would get nasty when adding extra

Hi, all Did anyone tried TDM400 card on old main board (Intel 440LX chipset -- PII)? The reason I am asking is because TDM400 needs PCI2.2 and main board is PCI2.1 I do not want to upgrade yet. Thanks, Rudolf

TDM400 synch issue
Hello, I have the following configuration : E100P -> * -> TDM400 -> Modem When I receive FAXes, about 20% of them are corrupted : pages are not always complete. If the fax is complex or with numerous pages, it's usually a mess. Before that, I was using spandsp with success. Unfortunately it's too picky with some broken fax (training failed). Since this failure only occurs with

TDM400 takes Zap/4 line off hook
Hello, I have a TDM400 with 2 FXS modules and 2 FXO modules, as follows: Zap/1 - internal phone Zap/2 - internal modem Zap/3 - exchange Zap/4 - exchange Recently I upgraded zaptel (and kernel modules) from 1.0.9-1.1 to 1.0.9.1 and upgraded asterisk to 1.0.9.dfsg.1-3, which are Debian versions for Debian/sarge of the packages I believe the Debian maintainers created (not in Debian) The above

TDM400 w/ FXS S110M pinout on RJ11 connector?
Hi all, I just got my long awaited FXS modules for a TDM400 card, and was a bit puzzled about how my phones and the FXS interface worked together. Here goes: In Sweden (that's where I am located) phones traditionally are connected in daisy chain configuration. This means that a phone in on-hook condition passes the line through back onto the outer pair of the RJ11, back into the wall
