similar to: IAXy playing dead again

I haven't seen much activity on the list concerning Digium's IAXy standalone FXS device. Are they worth $100 ? Do they integrate well with * as an extension's FXS ?

Anyone using this 110-220v 9v 1500ma supply? If so, which DC plug adapter does the IAXy need? A friend brought the wall wart over here for me but she said you get one plug free and she didn't know which one it took. Yesterday I was using one of the cheap Radio Shack phone polarity on various phone outlets in my house and ended up plugging it into my IAXY. While the regular phone jacks tested OK, the IAXY tested as being reverse polarity. The tester was plugged directly into the IAXY so there is no chance of this being caused by crossed wires. At a couple of locations, the IAXy's have just stopped working after 1 or 2 days use. I place a call from an IAXY to an IAXY device. INitially the calls show in the output of "show channels". Then after a few seconds the "show channels" command shows 0 active channels even though I am still talking on the channels. Any ideas on this? THanks, Jerry
