Patches to Fix Warnings
I've been looking at packaging swfdec on my Fedora 6 system.
Unfortunately since a git source checkout compiles with -Werror I've
been having problems because of all of the unused parameter warnings.
I've developed some patches that eliminate the problem by marking all of
the unused parameters with __attribute__ ((unused)). The attribute
markings are all macroized so if you

Zaptel DACS and FDL
I have the following configuration:
CLEC -> T-1 -> Asterisk -> Adtran Channel Bank -> (analog) -> Nortel
Don't complain that it's ugly. I've already done plenty of that.
The CLEC manages their Adtran remotely and needs to be able to
continue to do so. I assume they use FDL to do the management. We
are using the Zaptel DACS/DACSRBS to cross connect some of the

Security exploit downloaded with FLAC?
As is my routine every couple of weeks, I ran Pest Patrol anti-spyware
software, and was disturbed to find it came back saying that the file
FLAC/COPYING.FDL was a security exploit known as "Virus Tutorial" or
VTool/jul2. This has left me wondering if FLAC is to be trusted. Here's
what PestPatrol's web site has to say about it:

Nortel 81C MSDL Trunking to Asterisk TE110P, Nortel Resetting PRI Channels
We are currently working to trunk from a Nortel 81C to an Asterisk
Server 1.4 running on Red Hat Linux. We have two PRI trunks which work
with the exception of the clock slips, which is causing the Nortel to
reset the PRIs once a hour. Thanks for any suggestions.

Adit 600 FXO card sound quality
I have an adit 600 with one fxo card connected to a Digium single span T1 card.
CallerID, disconnect supervision work perfect, however the users
complain that they have some sound quality issues, after testing it I
realized that whenever one is in a phone call they get like silence
between the sounds coming from the other party, almost like a cell
phone, in other words if there is no sound coming

Trunk doesn't work Adit 600/T100P
Hi !
I am connecting to Adit 600 thru a T100P card
I have configured 1-16 FXS channels and 17-24 FXO.
Everything looks fine on Asterisk side I get a tone
on all FXS channels, but when I try to dialout thru
one of the FXO channels 17-24 it doesn't connect to
the POTS line and echoes back my voice.
I use fxsls and fxols for the T1 channels and ls on
Adit side. Whats wrong here ?
here is my Adit

PJSIP and NAT behind a dynamic IP address
What should the PJSIP configuration be if your external IP address is
dynamic, as is common with most home networks, and probably a lot of
small business networks as well? The external_media_address and
external_signaling_address transport settings are static. It would be
possible to write a script that would detect the external IP address
and rewrite the pjsip configuration file, but since you

Channel Bank Woes...
Hello all,
I have a new Carrier Access Adit 600 and am having a problem dialing out
and receiving incoming calls.
After the initial ring, the calling party will here nothing. There is a
silence, but the SIP phones that is supposed to ring will ring. The
calling party will not hear the sound of the ring that * sends out on
the line. Additionally, if someone picks up the receiver there is no

a few weeks ago I wrote to say there is a repository for a manual on
theora at www.flossmanuals.net
Just a small addition to say we are changing all docs from the FDL to
the GPL.

[LLVMdev] Optimization pass reference/guide?
Is there some kind of guide to the various optimization passes? I see
their names in the class list, and the various "createXXX" functions,
but I'm not sure if there are ordering requirements or perhaps unsafe
optimizations.

there are no ordering requirements, in the sense that all passes are
supposed to work

i'm looking for reference guide for Skinny SCCP
Hi all,
I'm writing my graduation theses : analysis VO-IP protocols , and I cannot
find any documents about Cisko Skinny Client Control Protocol. I have Cisco
CallManager and some IP-phone and I'm sniffing traffic between that, but I
don't understand, how this protocol works. Clearly i'm looking for
description of SCCP commands and explanation some basic SCCP scenarios or
