X100P and UK CallerID
Hi, I'm currently running asterisk 1.0.9-r1 and zaptel 1.0.9_p1-r1 (the current gentoo ~x86 versions), with the UK CallerID patches from http://www.lusyn.com/asterisk/patches.html applied. The Zap interface itself seems to work fairly well - although it's a little quiet, there is no echo. Unfortunately, there's also no CallerID. My zapata.conf is as follows: [channels]

Does Wildcard x100p support BT Caller ID in UK?
Hi all, I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere on the web, except that BT caller ID doesnt use the standard bellcore system in use in the US. So, if anyone here in the UK is onlist and using the x100p successfully, please let me know. TIA, Dave

UK Callerid bug #1719 & TDM400p
Hi Is this patch (http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0001719) the best/only way to get callerid working in the UK with a tdm400p? I thought I'd seen a patch that'd gone into cvs, but maybe I was just imagining things ;) Should this patch work against current cvs? Of the 3 files 2 are .patch and one is .diff - what's the difference between them, and how should I

Last callers script?
Hi, Is there some script which can be called from a * extension to playback the recent incoming callers on a particular PSTN line? In the UK 1471 is a BT number which plays back the most recent callers number, it also gives you the option to call this number back (now charging you for this service too!). Is there anything similar in asterisk-land? thanks Mike

X100P callerid ETSI - caller*ID failed checksum
Dear All, I am a newbie about asterisk. I have 1x X100P card 3x Sip phone I got aware of problem, after I saw the caller id on my sip phone. I noticed that if I receive a call from GSM Operator A, I can see caller id. But any other operator, I got no caller id, even my direct PSTN service operator. So at that moment I was using *1.0.9. than I changed to asterisk@home 1.3(1.0.9). I got same

X100P CallerID issue solved for my PSTN connection
Hi all, With a great help from Richard Alexander (thanks Richard!) I have now a functional CallerID on my X100P. This is what I have done: - update to the latest CVS (as today at 5:00pm GMT) - modify the callerid.c file in the asterisk source like that. original : /* MDMF */ /* Go through each element and process */

12 seat call centre with Asterisk, VoIP only, UK - possible?
Hi, I've had an inquiry for a small UK call centre, mostly outbound calls. I get the impression they are mainly calling 3G mobile phones, monthly phone bill, with calls is approx ?5,000 for several feature lines. How feasible is something like this with asterisk? I guess one big question is which type of circuit to use, ADSL in the UK is only 256kbs upstream, some providers do bonding but

sipura ata 3000 UK (BT) CAllerid
Hi I wonder whether anyone got the Sipura ata 3000 to decode British Telecoms callerid and pass it to asterisk? The userguide seems to suggest that this is not possible, is that right? Conrad

UK CallerID -v- Wildcard W100P
At the risk of being flamed.... Has anyone had any success get the 'El cheapo' Wildcard W100P clone's (?20 flavour) to work with UK Caller ID? I'm not sure what the status of Asterisk 1.6 is with respect to UK caller ID, being that we have an odd method of sending the FSK ahead of the ring, but I'm guessing I can't be the first to ask this? Keeping in mind that cost is

Need help configuring TDM10B / X100P Cards
Hi, Would someone assist me with the configuration of my TMD10B and X100P cards? I would ask Digium but my support was good for only one install...( I had to rebuild my * box). I wrote down the configuration but I must have made a mistake somewhere. I have followed the instructions on the Digium site but I must be missing something. Here's the config (snippets) I've been attempting to

BT / X100P impedance matching
I understand that the X100P card is matched to a 600 ohm impedance but the UK BT phone system is not (I haven't been able to find much information on the impedance of the UK system). Has anyone come up with an easy way to match the impedance between the two so the X100P can work in the UK? Presumably a simple transformer won't do the job since it won't pass the DC components? --

"HiarPinning" via TDM400 in the UK ...
So I have an application where the users want to divert incoming calls on one analogue line out to another analogue line - both lines are supplied by BT and theres a TDM400 in the box. Call comes in, system Dial's the forwarding number and bridges the calls. Works fine. Until one (or both) leg hangs up. And the box never sees the hangup. So it sits there with both Zap channels open

DAHDI - analogue, not seeing ringing (UK)
So made my first forray into 1.4 and DAHDI and hit a problem. (Not convinced this is a DAHDI issue though...) Testing an analogue line and asterisk sees the caller ID being passed, but then fails to detect ringing. A plain old analogue phone plugged in rings just fine. Console output: == Starting post polarity CID detection on channel 4 -- Starting simple switch on

UK experts only. BT Outgoing caller ID not showing
Hi Just moved offices in the UK and moved our Asterisk box from old one to new one. Using idefisk softphones, Junghanns quadbri card for ISDN 2e interfaces. At both offices we had one standard number and a DDI range, routed with Asterisk. We'd set up the configuration so each idefisk set its own caller ID which then got sent by the extensions.conf script. Worked fine at old place but in
