similar to: Non-PRI T1 configuration

Could anyone with any experience with * over a non-PRI T1 help this newbie? I have a fractional T1 that is working fine through a channel bank, but I can't get any response on * using a T400P. My analog line and the extensions work fine, but the T400P port 1 shows a red led (what exactly does that tell me?). I brought up zttool which shows a condition red also, but ztcfg shows nothing amiss.

I have a T1 PRI from the telco and have been trying to get it to work with the wildcard T400P. I know framing and coding is esf and b8zs. what else should I be putting into the zaptel.conf and zapata.conf. Dave Anderson

I installed a Sangoma card with the default install. I'm getting five digits of DNIS with each call. The T1 is setup ESF/B8ZS wink start. Each of the digits of the DNIS are being used for extensions in the context. I need a single extension that let me start an AGI script that can use the dnis. Hi List, I need to change my provider, at this time Asterisk box is on VOIP trunk. I have two options, T1 or 15 analog lines. I have some experience with analog and I have had two main issues with it. first is echo (I have not tried HPEC yet) and second unpredictable volume. I just had the same exact problem this morning. The only thing I've done in the last couple of days is update update zaptel. I rolled back my zaptel to 2/11/04 from 3/8/04.
