What different between asterisk-oh323 andastersk's chan_h323 ?
I have one and only one reason to use OH323, and that is it
works with Cisco's CallManager. The standard H323 channel
has one-way audio issues when connected to CCM and fixing them
has been identified as a low priority/never going to happen
task.

Oh323 channel problem
Hi,
I'm using Asterisk 1.2.3 with the asterisk-oh323 channel driver, version
0.7.3.
Pwlib is V1.8.7 an OpenH323 is V1.15.6.
Following CallFlow:
SIP-UA -> OpenSER -> * -> CCM
OpenSER routes all calls with prefix 60 to Asterisk, where I've configured
following extension:
exten => _60.,1,Dial(OH323/${EXTEN:2}@v.w.x.y)
v.w.x.y is a Cisco Callmanager where Asterisk is

What's the current state of hardware support for Ogg Vorbis? Any decent
players out there? I have an iRiver iHP-120 and am thinking about upgrading,
any recommendations?

GTA:SA ogg file problem
There is an application that rips the radio stations in the game Grand Theft
Auto San Andreas, and it produces ogg vorbis files. These files do not play
on my iRiver iHP-120, it just skips on to the next track after about 1
second. I can provide an example file if someone would like to take a look
and see what might be causing the problem.

Re: Transfer issue with a Cisco CCM/phone (Peckham, Christopher)
Christopher-
Nothing like defining a complicated environment. I do have some experience
in this arena- but unfortunately, not with the OH323 driver- I generally
stick to the Nufone driver, as I find it more reliable overall. YMMV. One
thing that might help is if you could tell us if it ever worked, or if this
is a new problem that's cropped up since a particular change.
Still- there are

Samba basics
Hi,
I know little to nothing about samba so need some advice on a problem I'm
having.
One of my users is trying to mount a UNIX directory onto his PC and gets the
error "not authorised from this station". He was able to do this until he
had his hard drive swapped out. Desktop have said they all settings are as
they were previously and that this is a UNIX issue. Other users on the

Yeah, strip 'em. It's the socially responsible thing to do, and saves
bandwidth too.
"Be liberal with what you accept, and strict in what you emit".
When applied to email, this means don't send bounce messages back to the
sender if it contains a virus or looks like spam (because spammers probably
spoofed it), don't forward

Asterisk and Cisco CallManager Integration
Hello,
I have Cisco CallManager 3.3.4 and Asterisk@Home latest version. I have
earlier tried getting Asterisk to register with CCM via H323 and failed.
Back then, I learned that this is a known bug in Asterisk. Also people who
tried doing that had also succeeded in getting calls to go through only one
direction like from CCM to Asterisk. I am not that expert so excuse my
ignorance with this

voip solution with SER, ASTERSIK and CCM
We are planning to install a voip system based on asterisk for 2000-3000 retail locations and up to 6000-8000 sip accounts/users.
Instead of setting up a new, centralized PSTN gateway, we are intend to use a CISCO gateway/router of an existing CISCO voip solution in the headquarter and we must able to call all CISCO based voip phones in the headquarter running together with a CCM.

Mapping issue
Hi,
Can you, and if yes, map PC 's IP and MAC addresses to a UNIX box running
samba. A user who has just had his PC changed can no longer mount his
directory on the UNIX box, he gets the message access denied from this
location. Everyone else is ok. When he tries it on another PC it works. I
have been told that a few months ago all the PC's were swapped out and users
had to call UNIX

unable to get connection thru firewall
Hi,
I've a Solaris 8 with Openshh 3.0.1 (build with these parameters
--prefix=/usr/local --without-rsh --disable-suid-ssh
--sysconfdir=/usr/local/etc --with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/ssl

I've have no problems. But When I try via the Internet I doesn't. If I run
