[Asterisk-Users] voip solution with SER, ASTERSIK and CCM
We are planning to install a voip system based on asterisk for 2000-3000 retail locations and up to 6000-8000 sip accounts/users. Instead of setting up a new, centralized PSTN gateway, we are intend to use a CISCO gateway/router of an existing CISCO voip solution in the headquarter and we must able to call all CISCO based voip phones in the headquarter running together with a CCM. SIP-Phones -> SER -> * -> CCM/Voice Gateway -> PSTN I'm very new to * and voip an so I have a couple question to get this done: 1. Is asterisk powerful enough to handle such a lot of sip users? I heard about using * together with SER. SER as the SIP Proxy/Registrar and * as a gateway to the rest of the world. Could this be an effective solution? 2. CCM by default wouldn't talk SIP. To bring * and the CCM together we have too use H.323. (* as an H.323 gateway with the OH323 channel?). Are their any experience in using * with a CISCO voice gateway and interconnect the SIP world with the CCM world? The goal should be to setup a single dial plan for the headquarter and the retail locations! 3. Are their a failover solutions to set these up in an HA manner? Any notes and proposals are welcome! Thanks in advance, Reto
Hi, We are planning to Host a Call Center with CRM enable and used asterisk with fxs or e1 interface to pabx. I tried asterisk@home but the ACD is not clear with me. Anyone who have a full software that can do all of this like fivenine i am willing to negotiate on your price. I am prepared to used opensource software. If somebody have an idea or concept that can tailor by installation please email me... Thank you very much. Jollyr
