Dovecot Sieve scalability
Hi, I just finished setting up a functional design with Dovecot+Sieve and it works like a charm. However I'm having serious doubts about the scalability of this. Here is part of a discussion we're having here: About Dovecot+Sieve. What happens here is that your MTA is configured to pass _all_ email to Dovecot which is configured as a LDA. In practice this means this in the Exim

RFC: Removing the DataStreamer and MemoryObject interfaces
Hi all, BitstreamReader is the only in-tree client of the DataStreamer and MemoryObject interfaces. In practice when using user-facing LLVM tools, the bitcode will normally either be in memory or in a file, so the best way to access it is through memory, either directly or memory mapped. As part of some refactorings I am making to BitstreamReader, I would like to simplify it by changing it to

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 2, Issue 163
Hi Matt, I have verified with ztmonitor the audio level and it was too low, then with this the fax machine report "Not Response". I modified the audio level in zapata.conf and after that the fax machine report "Commnunication Error". Do you an idea what could be ? OT: hardware, IBM 3650 M2 won't power on
Just for grins, pull off the cover and look at the electrolytic capacitors on the motherboard. Look for ones with the tops pushed up instead of being flat. This can cause all sorts of odd behavior. Often the machine with a blown capacitor will continue to run till it is powered off. Mostly I see this on Dell machines but have seen it on other machines as well. They are pretty easy to

RFC: Removing the DataStreamer and MemoryObject interfaces
And on a separate thread [0] Derek indicated he'd be fine with removing it. I'll leave this thread open until end of Monday to receive any other opinions, then proceed to remove it. Adit 600 and echo
I'm having issues with echo. My setup is Polycom IP501 phones connected to an Adit 600 via T100P. 13 Lines going to the Adit. All echo so far is on the local side (Employees hears own voice, but only on some calls). Watching the channel with ztmonitor, I notice that TXGAIN is pegged out most of the time. RXGAIN is anywhere between 45 and 60%. Is it safe to assume that playing around

Primary VGA Passthrough Status
Hi All- Is it possible yet to pass through a ATI or Nvidia GPU as the primary VGA card to a Win 7/8 VM, and have it fully functional there (DXVA etc), without crashing the guest or the host during operation or when resetting the guest? For hardware I have an E3 v2 Xeon, Tyan S5512 board, and an ATI 7750. Thanks! David _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list

Dovecot and duplicates
Hi I'm having a problem setting up duplicate filtering on my mail server. I've set up the mail server with Postfix and Dovecot with virtual LDAP users, ClamAV virus scanning. The problem is that some of the virtual users use multiple e-mail addresses and postfix delivers emails sent to a user as many times as the user has email address entries in LDAP. I was wondering what would be

Clicking noise using Speex built for TI C64+ DSP of DaVinci Processor
Hi, I've been trying to get Speex to compile and run on the DSP of TI's new DaVinci System-On-Chip processor, which has both an ARM (ARM926) and a DSP (C64+, based on the C6400). I used the latest code (1.2beta) and followed the example in the speex- 1.2beta1/ti/speex_C64_test trunk to build the Speex library for the DSP. Basically I have a loopback application on the ARM that samples

Is there a "connect acl" ?
Hi, I have been reading the acl documentation and it seems that a "connect acl" is not available. I need to limit the users that can login in an IP number, is that posible with dovecot 1.0? (i.e. only these users can login from the Internet) Or a new plugin should be written? It is complicated to do that? Thanks Oliver -- Oliver Schulze L. | http://tinymailto.com/oliver Asuncion

Temperature sensor
Does anyone know of a cheap temperature sensor that will work with Linux? I don't need a fancy monitoring appliance, I just want a simple sensor that I can connect to one of my monitoring servers to let me know if the server room is getting hot. -- Bowie

[RFC] Thoughts on a bitcode symbol table
This is about https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=27551. Currently there is no easy way to get symbol information out of bitcode files. One has to read the module and mangle the names. This has a few problem * During lto we have to create the Module earlier. * There is no convenient spot to store flags/summary. * Simpler tools like llvm-nm have massive dependencies because Object depends on MC

HDD badblocks
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I suspect that the gold layer on edge connectors 30-odd years ago was a lot thicker than on modern cards. We are talking contacts on 0.1" spacing not some modern 1/10 of a knat's whisker. (Off topic) I also remember seeing engineers determine which memory chip was at fault and replacing the chip using a soldering iron. Try that on a DIMM!

Cache Problems!!!!!
I've got a system setup where a Win95 client (written in Visual C++ 5.0) presents a user with a GUI that collects information about hardware that he/she would like to produce. This information is used to build a path to the directory that contains the files to load into one of the production machines. For example, through the use of menus and such the user indicates that they would like to run
