Problems compiling zaprtc on 2.4.27 kernel
Has anyone successfully compiled zaprtc on Debian Sarge using the 2.4.27 kernel. I have a symbolic link from linux-2.4 to linux. I compiled a new kernel from source and have been able to compile zaptel as well. The main error seems to be: /usr/include/asm/mpspec.h:6:25: mach_mpspec.h: No such file or directory These are the errors that I am getting: cc -c zaprtc.c -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE

hfc-pci/zaphfc: Asterisk hangs with signalling bri_net_ptmp but not with bri_net
Please forgive me, if I misunderstand the problem completely. Following instructions in several german blogs, I want to configure Asterisk with a hfc-pci card, an old NTBA and an ISDN phone as a SIP device. It seems that I have to set signalling in zapata.conf to bri_net_ptmp. When I do this, Asterisk will hang if started with -vvvvc, the last lines of output being: [res_features.so] =>

Zaphfc and BRI problems in Portugal...
Hi - Anyone using zaphfc cards (bri-stuff-0.0.2) on a Portugal Telecom BRI service? I am getting loads of errors and the audio is very distorted all the time. System is a Dell PIII/933 MHZ with SCSI. Here in the UK we have perfect audio with a Compaq PIII/500 MHZ SCSI system. Files are identical in both systems as below: Is there anything magic about Portuguese ISDN? The PCI bus in the

asterisk and telewell isdn hfc problem
Hi, I have debian etch 4.0 machine (2.6.18) with two TW-ISDN PCI (Hfc) cards. I use bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e (asterisk-1.2.17,libpri-1.2.4,zaptel-1.2.16). I also have patched zaphfc with zaphfc_0.4.0-test1_florz-13.diff.gz (I load module: insmod /usr/src/bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1y-e/zaphfc/zaphfc.ko modes=1 debug=1). bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k + hfc card: dropouts on IAX2 & MP3Player quits on streams
Hi there, I am using bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k and it seems that things didn't become better. I have got lots of dropouts on the IAX2 link (no matter if jitter buffers are enabled). Further the MP3Player application does not playback streams like http://somestreamserver/somestream. It stops saying: -- Executing MP3Player("SIP/27870-ba4f",

Bri solution for Asterisk
I'm using a Cologne chip card in my Asterisk box with zapHFC drivers (bristuff-0.0.2). The system works well, but this way I'm not able to run newer version of Asterisk. Do you think it's better to use i4l support and newer version of Asterisk or keep the bristuff with older asterisk ?? Have anyone tried chan_mISDN on a 2.6 box ? How does it run ???

HFC-S ISDN cards in Xen3.0.3 DomU''s
Hi! I just wanted to ask if anyone managed to get "ordinary" HFC-S ISDN cards with the zaphfc driver running in a Xen3 DomU. I am referring to this post ( http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2007-04/msg00202.html ), which perfectly describes my problem and I am therefore going to simply copy-and-paste it here: ----------- snip ------------> Hi, I''m
