VoiceMailMain dumps user back into my incoming context after leaving a message
I have a dial plan that includes a company phone directory as a main menu
option. If they just sit at the main menu, after 20 seconds, they are
transferred to the operator. If the user picks an extension from the
directory, they are transferred to the proper extension. If the called
number is not available, they are transferred into VoiceMailMain. They
leave a message, and hang up. The hang

Dreadful results from zttest with TE210P and Dell 2850?
Hi list!
I'm trying to setup a new * server with a TE210P in a Dell 2850 box. I'm
using zaptel version 1.2.5, the linux flavour I'm using is CentOS 4.
In a previous thread I read about the results I should expect from
zttest. On my home box (using the crappy Asus A7V600) I got really bad
results from zttest (just over 97.5) but I know that this motherboard just
sucks.

Fax and Asterisk
Hi
I am trying to build reliable fax solution with asterisk, iaxmodem and
hylafax. I am attempting to do this on Compaq DL-360 with 2 pentium 3
1.2GHz (512 cache) and 2GB of RAM. I am using a Sangoma A101. After
installing
the newest zaptel and wanpipe-3.1.0 beta I did zttest and it didn't give me
good results:

RAID affecting X100P performance...
I have a P3-800 with two IDE drives in a software RAID1 configuration.
Each drive is on a separate IDE channel. Now anytime there is HD
activity, I hear "beeps" and "cutting out" on a call using the X100P
card.
I ran the zttest program, and discovered HD activity would drop the
accuracy down to between 2% and 50%.
However I noticed if I disabled one drive in the RAID1

ztdummy, zttest
Hello,
Today we setted up a server that needs to use MeetMe but doesn't have
any Zap hardware. So we need to use ztdummy (at least, this was our
idea).
Rarely: zttest is not working at all (100% bad, using zttest -v doesn't
give anything, etc.). Of course, after load ztdummy, there isn't any
background or anything.
It is the same kernel (Debian Etch default kernel, 2.6.18) than

empty production.log
Hi All,
All my log files (including production.log) are empty - 0 bytes, and
doing a tail command yeilds nothing, even when the app is running!
They are chmod''d to 777, along with the /log/ directory. Any ideas why
this might be happening?
Thanks,

Manager logic to pickup a ringing extension
Can the Manager Redirect command transfer a ringing SIP extension? I'm
trying to implement a Camp On feature, and having failed to do it in Dial
Plan logic, am trying to do it with manager logic. If an arbitrary Sip
extension is ringing, I need the ability to pick up that extension from any
other phone. What little docs there are on Manager commands shows Redirect
takes these parameters:

Call Pickup problem in Asterisk with SIP phones
I'm having a tough time getting call pickup to work on *. Here's my
configuration:
X100P with T-1, channels 1-4 voice <---> * <---CISCO 7960 with SIP 6.0 Image
A call comes in, and * picks up and presents a menu. Caller chooses
extension, (in this case ext 103, SIP/wsmith)
Wsmith is sitting in my office, hears his phone ringing, picks up my phone,
gets dial tone, and presses

te110p and interrupts
Guys. I have an issue with a te110p card and also some tdm04b cards on the
same system:
Zttest returns this for the tdm04b cards:

troubleshooting hangups?
I have some DID numbers that come into Asterisk via PRI, then connect to a Panasonic DBS PBX via PRI.
Outbound calls from the PBX go out via PRI to Asterisk, then out to the Telco's PRI.
The sync LEDs on my PBX show that it is synced to Asterisk via the PRI.
I have users complaining about random hangups.
What is the best way toi approach finding the issue?
ref: zttest looks good.

Might want to give PCI latency setting a try, it helped for me. My ZTTEST
would drop occasionally to 99.95% until I set:
setpci -v -s 01:01.0 latency_timer=ff

Stability and motherboard questions with TE406P and TE410P
I am having a problem with asterisk not being stable enough for production
use. I have two cards, the digium TE406P, and the TE410P. The TE410P is
the primary card that I am using but I would like to move to the TE406P for
the echo cancellation and more flexibility of PCI slots available.

Zaptel timer on Intel Dual Core servers
Friends,
I'm having severe problems with zaptel timers on Intel Dual Core
systems with SMP code enabled. Ztdummy, zaptel connected to Digium TDM
or PRI cards - all ends up with large timer probems - zttest going
down to 50% accuracy on some systems, even to -1 on ztdummy systems
and voice quality is no more. A restart is the only way to get back
to a working system.
We're only
