similar to: snom 200 and hold

I'm using the SNOM 200 latest SIP beta (so that I can have the GSM codec, etc). Everything seems to be working fine, but the music on hold doesn't play when I use the HOLD button on the snom. Any suggestions? Thanks, --Ernest

I updated my snom200 to 2.02t and now MOH from * don?t works anymore... only the MOH from snom server and if i clear the MOH server field in the phone i have no MOH at all..( with the transfer button, moh plays using a extension). Hello all, I am running into some problems with a snom 105 phone trying to do a attended transfer . Snom phones are connected to Asterisk. This does not work, it will only do a unattended transfer. I have downloaded the manual from snom and followed the instructions. Has anyone experienced the same problem ? any ideas how to solve the problem. thanks, Arne.

How are people handling call transfer with SNOM phones? We are okay with the "#" transfer workaround, but I worry about how that will work with other systems that expect me to be able to "press # to return to the previous menu" or similar. Thanks, --Ernest

I would like to use one of my Snom 200's 5 programmable keys to park calls. I am using image SIP 2.04g. I have tried a variety of combinations and have come to the conclusion that: 1) On the Key Mappings administration page, I must select the "Transfer" under the "Break Keys" option box to be able to successfully transfer calls using the "Transfer" button. 2)

OK, last showstopper that I just can't puzzle my way through - parking calls with the snom phones. I get the two phones connected, I hit transfer on one, the other phone goes to MOH and the first phone gives me DT, so I dial 700 and hit the OK button. Check the Redirection on the web interface of your Snom 200. If it says "When Busy" that's your problem. It should say "Never". Also make sure on Sip->Lines your line appearance says "All" or else you will have the same problem. Hope this helps :) Greg Gregory P.
