SIP X100P Echo Problems
Like most others on this list I also have some really annoying echo whenever
a call goes out to the PSTN from a SIP phone...
SNOM/Budgettone -> Asterisk -> X100P -> PSTN
I have tried every echo canceler in the makefile and turned on and off
aggressive suppressor etc. etc. etc. tried 32,16,128, and 256 bridgetaps and
I can get it reduced to only a few seconds on the intro of the call and

Boot load wcfxo does not configure self under Ubuntu 6
When booting Ubuntu 6.06.1 (Linux 2.6.15-27-386), wcfxo would load but not
configure. I have three ways to manually force wcfxo to configure: 1)
ztcfg, 2) modprobe -f wcfxo, or of course 3) unload and reload wcfxo. Each
works equally well.
As a workaround, now I have to put ztcfg in rc.local, which Debian doesn't
favour.
I had compiled the same zaptel under Ubuntu 5.02.0 on two

FAX over IAX
Hi,
We are looking at consolidating our lines with PRI. This will allow the
elimination of many fax lines. Some of them will be replaced with this type
of config ...
PRI * IAX * Channel-Bank FAX
We will have daggressor suppressor enabled. Is anyone doing this and should
I expect smooth operation?

Need advice to get wcte11xp and wcfxo to load
I have a X100P and a TE110P in my Asterisk box. I can either get the
X100P or the TE110P to work, but never both. Here's my zaptel.conf

e&m=1-24
fxsls=25
When I load wcte11xp and wcfxo, I will get this error.

modprobe wcfxo causes fc3 box to crash

After going through multiple posts on Internet and trying different
things I can't seems get zaptel wcfxo loaded on the server correctly.

WCFXO and T1 PRI Card?
Can I have a TDM400 and a T100P in the same machine? I am using AAH and
trying to combine two boxes.
If so, can anyone tell me the proper config for zaptel.conf and
zapata.conf?
Thanks!

ANALOG FXO ZAPTEL & WCFXO & WCTDM module issues seen with intermittent analog lines
Hello, I have found a "bug", I think in the way TDM400P cards handle FXO
interface disconnect/re-connect problems. Normally I do keep all the wires
connected from my CO / PABX quite securely, but I had a need to re-route the
cable from one side of the desk to another, and I simply disconnected the
RJ-45 connector and plugged it back in. THIS PROMPTLY RESULTED IN VERY VERY

x100p wcfxo hangup on outgoing calss
Hi,
Im getting mad with this error, I have a x100p installed with wcfxo
module loaded perfectly, I can receive incoming calls and detect very
good the hangup for incoming calls. But for outgoing calls its a mess.
When I place a call for outgoing, i heard the ringing, my cell or
phone rings and when I pick up the phone it hangs:

some success with linux 2.6 and wcfxo
Hi ,
I picked up a x100p the other day and thaught I'd havea go at getting the
driver going for linux 2.6, things have gone pretty, two basic problems.
1. makefiles, with 2.6 you can't get away with using the old makefile to build
the kernel modules, they will build but you'll get an error along the lines of
"no module found in object". This is due to not using the new

estara softphone problem
Hi all, I installed the estara softphone and had no
problem registering it with asterisk. I could make
calls to other hardware SIP phones (Cisco 7960) from
the softphone, but I couldn't call the softphone from
the Cisco 7960s. The asterisk console gave me an error
message saying "unable to create channel" to my
softphone. What could be the problem? I searched the

Zap Clocking - Frame Slips - tdm400p wcfxo zttest cpu spikes spandsp
I've made some modifications to zttest in order to use
it as a frame clock accuracy tester / slip detector.
I'm not certain if that was it's original purpose, but it
seems that a lot of folks try to use it that way.
The result is something that I'm calling ztclock for now
to help avoid confusion.
I'm including the source at the end of this post. You

Applet?
Hello people. I would like to know if someone knows about any applet to include in a web page to start calls. What I am looking for is something that doesn't allow users to change numbers, or any other option, so I can include it in my web page and force them to call to me and no one else.
I have tried JIAXClient, but it allows people to call anywhere, and what I want is just a configurable

Residual Echo Suppression by the Preprocessor
What is the current status of the residual echo suppressor in the
preprocessor?
I ask this because I have occasional problems with the AEC, in which it
fails to cancel echo. I think the problems have to do with samples being
dropped by the audio IO system, which is effectively impossible to
detect and counteract reliably.
A colleague recommended using an echo suppression technique (which he

Backup Echo Suppression
Believe me; I've "played with" priorities and buffering.
Did you just say you have no idea how the Speex residual echo suppressor works? If that is the case, can you tell me where I could get some information about it?
