Toshiba DK424 / Asterisk / DTMF problems
I have a Toshiba DK424 connected via T1 E&M to a TE110P card.
Intermittently when a user dials a number I am getting 'getdtmf' errors on
the Ast server and the calls do not go through. If they dial the number
once or twice more, it works fine and I receive no DTMF problems.
On another note, end users are complaining about intermittent disconnects.
T1 is ESF/B8ZS - 24 chan. Other

Cisco gateway help needed
HI,
I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a Cisco MC3810 to interface my
Asterisk box with a T1.
I am able to make outgoing calls but incoing calls never reach my Asterisk
box. The cisco give a fast busy when I try to call one of the DID's. When
playing around with the dial-peers I can get the cisco to pick up the call,
but then it forwards the call back to the ANI that is dialing.

Astersik CVS HEAD + T1 e&m wink + IAX client doesnt detect call answered on Zap channel
Hello,
I've got very annoying behaviour from our asterisk PBX.
We have 12 channels T1 e&m wink start for TDM and using iax softphones
internally (iaxcomm, but tried firefly-thirdparty and discarded for
bad sound quality).
Slackware 9.1 w/ kernel 2.4.26+ digium TE110P card.
In some cases when call is placed from softphone to TDM, system does
not detect call answered on Zap channel and

offtopic - channel banks
hi,
i have some newbie questions about channel banks. i have an adtran
act-1241 sitting around. it accepts D4 modules, and it contains a number
of e&m cards.
first of all, how does this thing work? a t1 contains 24 channels, and i
noticed that the channel bank has space for 24 cards. what do these
cards do? what are their outputs? the ones that are in there have some
outputs on the front

T100P E&M Wink Trunk
I am setting up a box with a T100P. Everything is going well. The
company I am working with has their one phone switch gear. They
provisioned me a E&M Wink T1. Cannot do PRI unfortunately. We chose E&M
so we could pass an unlimited number of DIDs to the trunk as apposed to
FXS loopstart signaling. I can make outbound calls no problem, but I am
having problems with the dial plan for inbound

T1 config for robbed-bit E&M AMI
I have a couple of live T1s sitting around and they are not ISDN(like most
of the people that are using Asterisk seem to be using), they are regular
old 24 channel, robbed-bit, E&M wink start, D4AMI T1 circuits.
Can I get these T1s to work with a T100P Digium card and asterisk?
Searching through the lists and the documentation I haven't seen any
examples of how to configure this kind

E&M Wink start problem
Attempting to talk to an Eagle Telephonics switch at a disaster
exercise. Didn't think a plain old E&M wink start T1 would be this
much of an issue.
We finally got the Eagle to accept a call from *, but whilst I can
hear the person on the Eagle, they can't hear me. When they initiate
a dial out I only get the first 2 digits from their switch...
Does anyone have decent

Tor2 with em_w (or em) signalling pickup behavior?
Hi,
Can I make e&m wink start lines just wait for digits - instead of going to
default?
Someone else cleared a similar problem (as described below) on an fxo port
with "usecallerid => no" but it is not doing the trick for me. In this case
the line when straight to default which would be ok also.

E&M ?
When I send a call from my TE410P using E&M, the legacy PBX answers
the call but doesn't route it. Any idea what this could be? I assume the
digits aren't being delivered properly to the legacy pbx. Any
suggestions on what config settings to muck with?

T1 + E&M
Maybe of you guys know the answer to this:
We have T1's that come from both MCI and Global Crossing as channelized (24
Ports per T) with inband (DTMF) delivery
of ANI and DNIS (format = *DNIS*ANI*). My old equipment was set for D4,
AMI, SF and Wink Start and so is Asterisk. I've moved these T's to Asterisk
TE410P and inbound calls are arriving to external voice mail system

3rd T1 of quad card won't change signaling
Hello,
I'm trying to set the 3rd span of a new digium quad card as
a E&M T1 for Faxes to a Hylafax server. The 1st and 2nd
spans are working as PRIs. When I start asterisk, the logs
show a signaling error and chan_zap.c dies. I also get an
error that it can't read the gains but they are the
standard shown below.

E4 Superframe E&M?
I need to create a couple of tie lines between a legacy system and an
Asterisk system. I was told that the tie lines are E4 Superframe E&M.
I have done E&M wink but have no idea about E4 Superframe E&M and Google
is not helping me here.
Does anyone know about this type of signaling and if Asterisk can handle it?
Thanks,
Steve

T1 DID problem
Hello,
I have a T1 (not PRI) plugged into my Asterisk server.
Everything is working well, except I only get the first digit of the 4 digit DID in Asterisk. The T1 provider (Eschelon) tried switching to 7 digits, and I only got the first digit of the 7.
Can anybody help? We're adding another DID and I need to trap it correctly.
Thanks.

E&M Wink problems
We're having some difficulty connecting a T1 fax board card to asterisk,
with E&M Wink. We've successfully connected it to other E&M Wink T1s,
but have been unable to get asterisk to hear it's dialing. Asterisk can
dial down to it with no problem, and it hears all the digits, but
whenever it sends digits down to asterisk, * always only "gets" the
first one.

SBC ADTSe - Sending DP digits
SBC installed a T1 ADTSe (Digital Trunking Service Enhanced) e&m wink start with 24 1 way trunks.
The CO says they dial pulse DP the seven digit dnis number.
The channels work now but take long time to answer and get these messages repeating until I guess the CO stops
Pulse dialing the number.

E&M and Dial tone
I'm a bit confused about how to handle this.
I have Asterisk sitting in the middle between a Qwest Long Distance T1
(Voice T1, D4, SF, AMI) and an external voice mail PC using a Dialogic
D/240SC-T1 card.
The Qwest T1 originally was connected to the Dialogic card directly. The
signaling was set to E&M Wink Start because Dialogic used this as its
default settings, so it just worked
