SNOM 200 using GSM Codec dtmf problem
Hello All,
I'm trying to get my SNOM 200 to work using the GSM codec. The problem is it wont' pass dtmf digits. I have it dtmf outband on, inband off. In my sip.conf I have dtmfmode=rfc2833. Whenever I press a digit on the snom phone I get "invalid gsm data" so I think it's a configuration problem in the snom, anyone have a working configuration using gsm?
Thanks

number I dial I get a 404 error from Asterisk. Here are my configs and a
dump from "sip debug" . But if I make a call from a Zap line (see

Snom 300 Echo
We're deploying an asterisk-based phone system at all of our branch
offices in an effort to eliminate long-distance costs incurred from the
constant branch to branch calls. We're using the Snom 300's at all
offices for the desk phones and X100P cards to interface to 2 analog
lines. I'm having a problem tuning all the echo out of the system. So
far two branches are using the

"Inband DTMF is not supported on codec G.711 u-law. Use RFC2833"
Using FireFly, all other codecs but G711 Ulaw is selected. But whenever I
place a call, I get:

Umm, wtf? I thought Inband was ONLY supported on G.711 u-law.

two things
Hi,
I'm having two problems.
First - I'm using the xten x-lite program to communicate with asterisk,
and everything works fine except that DTMFs are not transferred.
I've set DTMFMODE to inband on both the sip.conf file and the x-lite
configuration, and still it doesn't work.
Anyone had this problem before>?
Second thing:
I get a WARNING:[1209214400]: File dsp.c,

MGCP broken
hi all
I'm being spammed by these messages in the console (see below) and sound
doesn't work with today's cvs. I rolled back a week, and it works fine. In
addition to the sound problems, I had to enable inband dtmf squelch on the
dilnk mgcp phones. if not, each pressed key was counted twice

Chan_H323, G729 (minor problem)
hi ..
I have finally managed to get Chan_H323 & G729 working
flawlessly, thanks to some help from Jerry McNamara.
For those out there who are stuck with the same problem
the procedure is :
1. install on RedHat 8.0 and nothing else (RH9 doesn't work!)
2. Install asterisk, zaptel etc. the normal way
3. Compile Pwlib & oH323 with versions taken from nufone's
