About a month ago I made a test with snom200b. At least then it worked ok with *. At the moment I'm using mainly g711a. So, there is always a possibility something has changed. -- Pertti Matteo Brancaleoni wrote:>Hi. > >I'm not using snom phones for a while, but >now I want to test again them and I'm gonna >buy a snom 200 & 105 . >Some times ago I had a snom 100 , and gsm wasn't >working with *. Yep! Just have asterisk bind to another port than 1720. Of course, your problem with be codecs like g723.1. - Kim> This is quite possibly a daft question, but it is possible to run * and > gnugk on the same system with gnugk acting as a proxy for netmeeting > endpoints and feeding everything for PSTN and SIP out through *? > > > _______________________________________________ > Asterisk-Users mailing list > Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

The real question is, do you really need a gatekeeper? Then at the risk of being flamed (again) why do you need H.323? Most real IP Phones out there have some other firmware option than H.323 and there are certianly carriers out there that have seen the light and offer some other VoIP signalling protocol.
