manager interface change request
hi all
I'm trying to use the manager interface to do some nagios (http://nagios.org/)
integration, and I find some parts of it not really optimal. What I'd like to
change, is to make \r\n\r\n an actual terminator, something it isn't today,
AFACS. Below is the Status output - it shows Response, Message, \r\n, Status
post, \r\n, Status post etc etc. Without a parsable terminator, I

CAPI / Channels
hi all,
i have a probably very stupid question/problem.
for testing purpose i am trying to get asterisk running with two isdn
cards. I'd only like to here the demo sound when i call the number - but
nothing works.
The output of show channels is not showing any channel - should there be
4 channels ? - capi info shows my two cards perfectly.
The ISDN Controller's are attached to an PTMP

fax machine detection for outgoing call on DIVA card
Hello,
I need to detect both fax and answer machine, and it should be valuable that
the detection will be run by the Diva card itself. So :
- I read Diva Documentation, and I found that the Diva could send some
specific DTMF, if I had "[..] enabled [this functionnality] by the
application for a designated controller through a manufacturer request
command 9 [...]", but I didn't

I have a large dataset looking like this (as an example):

Trouble using two Fritz ISDN cards in one machine
Hi,
I'm heaving trouble using two Fritz ISDN cards in one machine.
I followed "http://www.quiss.org/caiviar/Two-Fritzcards-HOWTO" and i
think everything works great.
cat /proc/capi/controller shows:
1 fcpci running fritz-pci A1 3.11-02 0xb400 5
2 f2pci running fritz2-pci A1 3.11-02 0xa400 10
The asterisk CLI shows:

Contr1: 2 B channels

model.matrix metadata
Hi,
As far as I am aware, the model.matrix function does not return
perfect metadata on what each column of the model matrix "means".
The columns are named (e.g. age:genderM), but encoding the metadata as
strings can result in ambiguity. For example, the dummy variables
created when the factors var0 = 0 and var = 00 both are named var00.
Additionally, if a level of a factor variable

Chan_capi 0.3.1 , Asterisk , 3 x C4 active ISDN card Segmentation fault
Hi,
i use chan_capi 0.3.1 with asterisk (stable branch cvs) and 3 x c4
active ISDN card.
From Controller 1 - 7 there are no problems making calls between
asterisk and the pstn.
But when i make calls from controller 8 - 12 i get on every controller
(8 - 12) a segmentation fault in asterisk :(
I tried different linux distributions (gentoo 2004.1, redhat 9.0 , suse
9.1) but same error.

[Asterisk-Dev] Cisco ATA 186 chan_mgcp Transfer problem
Hello list,
i am using:
asterisk CVS-10/13/03-11:54:33
chan_capi-0.3.0
ATA-186 V2.16.1.ms over MGCP
Situation:
ISDN calls ATA
ISDN speaks with ATA
ATA-Phone presses Flash and speaks to another one (SIP/snom200)
ATA-Phone hangs up
ISDN talks to SIP/snom200
snom200 hangs up
The incoming extension of ATA keeps busy for a time (20 sec?), even its
not off-hook anymore!
Any ideas?

Syntax for 2 ISDN Cards
Hi there,
I searched in mailinglist and in web, but no answer to my problem...
Only this post with no answers:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2004-March/038994.html
I'm using CVS Asterisk (05/17/04) with chan_capi 0.3.1. (multiple
controller support). In my Asterisk-box there are 2 Fritzcards
(module for second card compiled with changes on sourcecode found in
the web).

Syslinux Digest, Vol 116, Issue 20
Hi!
We use Windows tftp-servers (so I dont think switching now would be an alternative). But I can try to suggest it.
More specific, vendor id of the mac address, is what I want to be able to "choose" (if match) which bootmenu to display.
Like all broadcom NICs we have would boot the undionly.kpxe "menu!! (I am having some trouble with broadcom (PCI fiber) and iPXE :)

Interpolation in time
Can anybody help me write a code on the following data example, which
fills out all NA values by using a linear interpolation with the two
closest values?
Doy is day of year (%j).
Code example:

doy<-c(16:29)
dat<-c(3.2,NA,NA,NA,NA,NA,NA,5.1,NA,NA,NA,NA,NA,4.6)

h.323 - success
hi
seems like things are closing in to something that might look like
success. I have one problem left: I don't get ring indicator when I dial
out from the h.323 phone... Sound is good, so it doesn't look like a
codec problem. I'm using chan_capi with early B3. I also use gnugp to
route the calls from the phones to asterisk, as the dlink dph-100h
requires this. Debug output follows:
