fxo cards
Hi all, Is there any alternative hardware components for multi port FXO cards, other than Single and E1 or T1 level? For example 4 or 8 port FXO card is ideal. Also the price matters. Thanks!

OT: BRI ISDN question
I am going to try and use a passive AVM fritz BRI card for my * setup.. Here is the thing.. I need to order my BRI from BT.. The service that looks to be the one to use is what they call ISDN 2e becasue this has the option to setup hunt groups across multiple ISDN2e lines so I could add another line later to get 4 channels.. According to the BT website in order to use the hunt grouping across

some EICON Diva 4BRI questions
Hi! I have some (short) question about the Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards I want to have (short) answered before buying the DIVA card. I know there are several Eicon guys active on the list, thus I ask on the list instead of directly to Eicon so that all other will benefit as well. 1. Do Eicon DIVA (V-)4BRI cards support TE and NT mode? 2. Can the clock (master/slave) be configured independent

Verizon ISDN
I'm looking to use Asterisk with Verizon ISDN centex service in the US. I'd be connecting to an NT1 so I'd need an S/T interface. Users would have SIP phones registered with Asterisk and sharing the ISDN lines. The only PCI ISDN card that will support ISDN signalling in the US seems to be the Eicon Diva Server cards. These are hard to find and very expensive ($2500 for the Quad

ISDN BRI active adapters with NT mode - any alternatives ?
Having ISDN FXOs and a bunch of ISDN DECT base stations, I went looking for a CAPI compatible active BRI adapter capable of NT mode. I have found that the 'Eicon Diva Server 4BRI' fulfills theses requirements. However, at EUR 1387 for four BRI interfaces, it does not come cheap. Are there other users of similar hardware that can point me to alternatives ?

About BRI / ISDN hardware. What to buy?
Hello everyone. I need a BRI ISDN card that works in Romania. I already have one of the "Cologne HFC-S" PCI cards and it doesn't work right, it's junk. I get waaaay too much echo using it. I'm now "shopping" for a better card. Can anyone recommend me a card that "fits" the following: (a) Costs less then $1000 / 750 euro (b) Has one or (preferably) two

Interface card for Euro-ISDN (BRI)
Hi, I'm looking for an interface card for termination of Euro-ISDN2 (BRI) lines. That is ISDN lines from the telco into my Asterisk box. Any recommendations, good/bad expiriences ? At present I'm looking at cards from BeroNet and Junghanns. Cheers, John Faroese Telecom

Horrible problem - calls losing sound
We're having a horrid problem with our asterisk setup. Sometimes calls just go dead - we can't hear what the other end is saying. (I think they can't hear us either). The call doesn't hang up until one of the callers gets bored. Internaly we use Thomson ST2030 SIP phones. Externaly we have 3 ISDN BRI lines (6 channels total), connected to an Eicon Diver server card (4BRI).

Eicon Diva Server 4BRI
Hi Everybody, Has anybody tried the above (or indeed any other 4XBRI cards) successfully with Asterisk. As far as I can see the above mentioned card is an active ISDN card but supported by it's own I4L driver. This leads to interesting questions particularly regarding echo cancellations (which usually doesn't work on the cheap passive cards with one exception as far as I can see).

CAPI, BRI and grouping B channels
Dear All, I have a working asterisk installation in the UK on BRI point-to-point. I am using Redhat8 with one Eicon Diva Server 2.0 card with chan_capi-0.3.5 and Asterisk 1.0.1. I have got to the stage where I can make and receive calls over ISDN. My question: How do I group the 2 B channels so that when one channel is in use, the other channel is availble to receive[make] an

Which ISDM BRI Card for Asterisk?
Hello all, I wonder to have some feedback on using ISDN BRI Cards with Asterisk and the Echo problem. I have tried a simple BRI card with i4l driver and encounter huge echo problem. I have tried to solve it with a Sw chocanceller without success. What I'd like to know is wether some of you have used other BRI Cards (I have seen reference to Eicon cards on this list) and if the echo

Newbie Question-Looking for Feedback
I've been looking at Asterisk for a replacement for our phone system and I'm hoping someone can help validate my assumptions. We have 4 analog lines coming into the building. These lines are simple POT lines and we have them in a "hunt group" with Verizon so that when a single phone number is dialed, the first line is rang, if that line is busy it will ring the second line, and

Ordering BRI From AT&T
Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I have a business customer in the U.S. (Michigan, AT&T Territory). I need to get 4 trunks into an asterisk Box. My intention is to use an Eicon Diva Server card with 2 BRI Circuits. The reason for this is that the business needs DID's on the trunks (20 of them). A full or fractional PRI is overboard for them, as they will

I have downloaded and installed the deb-source package that EICON/DIALOGIC offers. Th installation script crashes with the following error messages: # LOG ---- START SECTION read kernel version

ISDN BRI hardware
Hi, Anybody have lots of experience with PCI ISDN cards and Asterisk? I'm thinking of getting a BRI in my house to deliver more advanced signaling to my PBX (yes, I'm a geek :-)) but I've never played with isdn4linux. Is there any particular BRI card that works better with Asterisk than any other? Also, can the BRI interface cards participate in conference, etc., since they

Anyone using National ISDN (NI-1) BRI under Linux?
I have a North American BRI configured as National ISDN (NI-1) on an SBC (Nortel?) switch. SBC calls this "FastTrak ISDN", and it's surprisingly inexpensive -- less than two POTS lines. I've been trying to find an inexpensive PCI interface solution to connect this to Asterisk as voice lines. I prefer ISDN BRI over POTS lines because of the improved signalling, fast dialing,

ISDN
Hi, I'm in the process of setting up Asterisk in a SOHO environment using ISDN for trunking. More specifically a BRI 2B+D circuit where one SPID is used for the business and the other is used for personal. The circuit already exists, but is presently being interfaced to POTS phones via a TA. This configuration is not very common in the US, but we are fortunate that our LEC offers it price
