migration question: "imap server directory"
In prepping our IMAP migration to Dovecot, I've hit upon a small
issue: the "IMAP server directory" which Thunderbird users have
set in the "advanced" prefs.
Our old IMAP server seems to set your current directory to ~.
This wound up causing users to set their IMAP server directory to
"/home/<user>/mail/" so that their mailboxes would be found:

strange strsplit gsub problem 0 is this a bug or a string length limitation?
I was working with the rmetrics portfolioBacktesting function and dug into
the code to try to find why my formula with 113 items, i.e. A1 thru A113,
was being truncated and I only get 85 items, not 113.
Is it due to a string length limitation in R or is it a bug in the strsplit
or gsub functions, or in my string?
I'd very much appreciate any suggestions

SV: Re: Sangoma A102 cards testing FIXED
Hi again,
Well - I didn't see beta8a-2.3.3 in custom dir. Will try.
Also I tried to contact Sangoma - they are very fast to answer but main problem is time difference - it's 6 hours between Canada and Europe.

Re: Sangoma A102 cards testing FIXED
Hello,
Have you tried the wanpipe-beta8c-2.3.3.tgz release in the custom/2.3.3 dir
on their FTP site? Also, have you contacted Sangoma for support? They are
very responsive.
I am using wanpipe-beta8a-2.3.3.tgz and it's been working great on my A104
for a week now.

PRI "wanrouter status" shows disconnected - system problem or Telco?
Hi everyone,
I am reading through Sangoma Wiki right now. But someone may already and
quickly notice this. I have a system that is down since the morning (maybe
power intruptions). All seems fine except for "wanrouter status" shows
disconnected. Following are the alarms raised. Should I call telco (they
have long wait times) or should I just keep searching online for
troubleshooting

Sangoma & Dell 750
Anyone using a Sangoma A102 with a Dell 750? We are looking at going this
route but needed some input. I really only need a Single T1 port, but this
server doesn't have a PCI-X port, which the A101 apparently requires?
Thoughts, Suggestions?

One side SIP goes dead on length conversation
Has anyone seen something like this before. Randomly, on longish calls, the
local side of the call audio goes dead. Meaning remote caller can hear us
but we cannot hear the remote person?

E1 card for Asterisk
Hello Folks,
I'm trying to decide here between a few cards for connecting an Asterisk box to a
single E1 channel (either PRI or R2 signaling):
- Digium E100P: has been replaced by the TE110P below, but can still be had at
places like digitnetworks.com for $475, and I guess there's always a place for
good-olde-obsolete cards in the world as long as they work :-)
- Digium TE110P:

Asterisk Shutting Down
We've experienced the same problem twice now in the past month. The
asterisk pid stops responding. We aren't able to connect to the CLI and
all calls are dropped. The lots are pretty bare as well.
This is the message log:

Patches to log imap bandwidth?
Anyone patch dovecot to syslog bytes transfered during a session or
anything of that sort? I'm trying to track down imap bandwidth spikes,
and unfortunately the uid (according to ipfw) for the imap port spikes is 0.
(Presumably FreeBSD's ipfw accounting is based on who started the app
instead of the effective user id?)

LSUB "" "" vs LIST "" "" (hacked Apple Mail problem)
The LSUB command does not act like LIST when provided with an empty
mask argument. LIST responds with the hierarchy delimiter:
* LIST (\Noselect) "." ""
OK List completed.
whereas LSUB doesn't return anything useful:
OK Lsub completed.
RFC 3501 doesn't specify what LSUB should do in this case, but
Courier IMAP has LSUB act like LIST. The attached patch
