apple mail, and mails marked as deleted
hi, is this a feature or a bug in conjunction with apple mail. i usually use the feature in imap to not delete the emails, but only mark them as deleted, which is a very usefull feature if you use a emailbox with more people accessing it. Im now trying an SME server installation with dovecot 0.99.10, and when i delete a message, it gets marked as deletet, but as soon as i change the mailbox

Fitting nonlinear (quantile) models to linear data.
Hello. I am trying to fit an asymptotic relationship (nonlinear) to some ecological data, and am having problems. I am interested in the upper bound on the data (i.e. if there is an upper limit to 'y' across a range of 'x'). As such, I am using the nonlinear quantile regression package (nlrq) to fit a michaelis mention type model. The errors I get (which are dependant on

RECYCLER and recycler bin
Hello, I have recognized a pretty annoying thing with my Samba-Server: My smb.conf is set, that deletet files go into the dir ".Papierkorb". It works well one one Client, but when the user deletes Files on the other client, a dir called "RECYCLER" appears with the file and some .ini files in it. Is there a way to solve this? Both clients are WinXP, I'm using Samba

COFF::IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 relocation overflow when compiling for x86_64
Thanks Andy, helpful as always! 1 is a possibility, but not ideal for us. Could you elaborate a little on 3? I don't really know what a jump stub is, but am guessing it's a kind of "alternative symbol" which would just act as a middle man to invoke the "real" symbol in the static library. If that's the case, I can think of a way to implement it for specific

COFF::IMAGE_REL_AMD64_REL32 relocation overflow when compiling for x86_64
Some time ago I posted here regarding a relocation overflow on Windows (among other things), but the issue disappeared and so the thread got left. I've started this new thread because a) I didn't want to necro the old one and b) it felt like its own. I've now encountered the issue again and am noting down all the information I can get about it whilst it's happening. The issues is

[cfe-dev] Orc Windows C++
First of all, thanks very much to Lang for fixing the BSS section bug; works like a charm! I’ve been unable to reproduce the 32 bit relocation on 64 bit code (I’ll let you know if I do). However, I’m still having issues with resolving the 64 bit symbol relocations. In case it’s relevant, the specific symbol my program is tripping up on is IID_IOleObject, where TargetAddress is dereferenced

That's great news, thanks! If I can be of any help, let me know. :) I'll see if I can reduce the example for the relocation issue whilst you're at it. Many problems since a reinstall.
Hi there, Recently, i had a kernel panic on my computer.. Afortunately, I had backup and easily made a restore of the computer. BUT, samba has become a really headache for me. First of all, I had to rejoin the domain in the clients, that was fine, the users could login to the clients, but they couldn't open some programs like Inventor nor AutoCAD. On the try to resolve that, it started to

Yet another silly question...
Ok, I now have Dovecot working but I'm having an issue with my start up from xinetd. I tried to follow the examples in the documentation, but why can't I just have a single entry for IMAP with just dovecot? Wouldn't this also open up the SSL and the POP3 stuff as well? Unused SQL API
Greetings, recently I've been writing a database driver module for Dovecot to use SQLite. It's mostly for my own use, but I do recall other people have asked for this. Firstly - Timo, I grow to love your work more and more every day. :) I have not had any trouble figuring out what is needed of the driver, even without any API documentation. However, the one part of the driver

RuntimeDyLdCOFF and RTTI on Windows
HI Stefan, CC'ing Reid Kleckner, who might have some insight here, and llvm-dev as this may be of interest to other windows JIT users. I am facing the issue that C++ dynamic_cast doesn't work for types > loaded from object files with RuntimeDyLd. <snip> Do you think it is possible that RuntimeDyLd misses type info data in > the COFF file or doesn't wire it up

Bug: ThunderBird and dovecot 1rc1
Hello! It seems to me that correct deletion of message in thunderbird still doesn't work with ThanderBird and dovectot 1rc1. As I've said before messages are not removed phisically from filesystem, just marked for deletetion. Though I'm not sure that this is dovecot bug and not ThunderBird. Anyone to clarify this issue ?
