Calling C in R in Windows 64 bit
Dear developers,
I am trying to run some C/ Fortran code in R. Although I have experience with that in Windows (Vista) 32 bit, I could not succeed in 64 bit. I downloaded the following:
- R 2.12.0
- Rtools 212
- miktex 2.9
- inno setup 5
-Afterwards, I changed the path as:
?C:\Program Files\R\R-2.12.0\bin;C:\Rtools\bin;C:\Rtools\MinGW64\bin;C:\Program Files\HTML Help Workshop;C:\Program Files

Problem compiling package LogicReg - make Error 255
Hello all,
I've been using the R package LogicReg, but ended up having to change a
certain parameter in the Fortran 77 code (namely, I had to change LGCntrMax
to 25 in the file slogic.f).
I am using a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. When I tried to compile, I got the
following error:

[PATCH 1/3] inspection: Refactor windows systemroot detection to allow re-use
This change refactors guestfs___has_windows_systemroot to
guestfs___get_windows_systemroot. The new function returns a
dynamically allocated char * which must be freed.
The new function is no less efficient than before, as it returns the
result of guestfs___case_sensitive_path_silently, which is required
anyway. The new code is slightly more efficient than before, as it
re-uses the result of this

Cannot Build R From Source - Windows XP
Hi,
I can't seem to install R from source. I've downloaded the latest
Rtools211.exe from http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/ & done a
full installation of that and Inno Setup.
I have set R_HOME as C:\R (and also tried using C:\R\R-2.11.1)
After successfully running 'tar xf R-2.11.1.tar.gz' the modifications I
have made and saved as MkRules.local are:

-lgsl -lgslcblas fatal error no such file or directory
Hello,
Novice programmer.
I'm writing C source code and compiling it in as *.dll in the terminal by R
CMD SHLIB foo.c. It works, I'm on a 64 bits windows system. I have the
lastest R 2.15.0 and Rtools using the gcc 4.6.3 compiler.
However, that was a hello world run, and I installed GSL for the 64 bit
system for fast MCMC. The Rcpp package was easy to use, but I opted for a C

R CMD -lgsl -lgslcblas *.c returns a fatal error: gsl/gsl_rng.h no such file or directory exists
Hello,
I tried this posted on the R devel subforum but no help so far. Maybe the
wider net will be fruitful. Probably a pretty simple issue.
The short story goes, I'm writing C source code and compiling it in as *.dll
in the windows terminal by R CMD SHLIB foo.c. It works, I'm on a 64-bit
system. I have the lastest R 2.15.0 and Rtools, and I am using the gcc 4.6.3
compiler.

Package Building under Windows with MikTeX 2.6
Dear WizaRds,
I wrote a small function in R and would like to create a package. The
necessary documentation is done, Rtools etc. are installed and I am
still unable to complete the process under Windows. I did extensive
research in the archives and read the Murdoch-Sutherland website on the
Rtools and MikTeX hints. I realize that I understand only half or less
of what is said there

proj4R library will not install
I'm hoping someone can help me. I have downloaded the proj4R.zip and under my version of R (2.3.1) I install the package from local zip file. This worked great. I then type library(proj4R) to load the library and I get the error: Error in library(proj4R) : 'proj4R' is not a valid package -- installed < 2.0.0? I have read through the install documentation and have downloaded and

[PATCH] inspector: add ReactOS systemroot
After adding /reactos as windows systemroot, virt-inspector identified OS as
windows with product name ReactOS. Fixes RHBZ#709326.
Related bug RHBZ#709327 seems to be already fixed in ReactOS 0.4.

[PATCH] v2v: move virtio_win to windows_virtio
Now that all the stuff related to Windows virtio drivers has been moved
into a dedicated module, it makes sense to move the definition of
virtio_win there, too, and stop passing it around as a parameter.

[V2V PATCH v2 1/1] convert_windows: add firstboot script to install drivers with pnputil
During conversion we copy the necessary drivers to the directory
"%systemroot%\Drivers\Virtio", adding it to the DevicePath registry
value. As documented in [1], this should be enough for Windows to find
device drivers and successfully install them.
However, it doesn't always happen. Commit 73e009c04 ("v2v: windows:
Document use of pnputil to install drivers.") describes
