Hi,
Currently I am looking for possibility to have a
no-config network enviroment, where in this local area
network, we don''t need to set any ip to a computer, it
doesn''t matter the computer already have a fixed
ip/sm/gw (even doesn''t belong to the enviroment). When
ever a browser is ''clicked'', the computer will able to
get connected to the internet.
I am looking into using farpd (in debian),- farpd
function as answering all unanswered arp request.
With farpd running along with shorewall, I am looking
into comming up with the solution on the no-config
problem that I want to have.
If anyone have an idea how the rules going to be or
any patch I need to apply, please advice me.
-ps: In my enviroment - I am not looking into dhcp on
the client side - No configuration needed on the
client PC.
Thank you.
