CDR unanswered setting
? Hi, From asterisk 1.8, the CDR table is not logging the unanswered or extn busy calls which hit while in the queue. I am talking about this setting in the cdr.conf : ; In brief, this option controls the reporting of unanswered calls which only have an A ; party. Calls which get offered to an outgoing line, but are unanswered, are still ; logged, and that is...

F18-LLVM: Unanswered but important points
Hello, This is regarding recent/ongoing discussions about F18 being merged in LLVM. I was going through these threads, and I found few important points which were possibly left unanswered (or I might have missed few threads). URL: http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/flang-dev/2019-December/000120.html Point: Is (3) AST -> FIR -> MLIR LLVM-IR -> LLVM-IR) in a shape where we can generate LLVM IR now? Detect hangup on unanswered POTS call
...code do this? I have busydetect turned off. - Incoming calls could be picked up immediately, then receive ringback or hold music while Asterisk rings the handsets. Asterisk could then detect caller hangup with the usual kewlstart signalling. The problem is that the caller always gets billed for unanswered calls. (Although this might have the advantage of encouraging people to leave a message once they realize they're going to get billed for the call either way.) - I could add an extra prompt after the outbound message saying "Please press 1 if you would like to leave a message.&quot...

CentOS 6 VM image for paravirtualizaton on CentOS Xen server
...e Xen server, so paravirtualization posed few risks. And I had control of the DHCP setup. so I could trivially set up a tftp server to do a non-CD installation, because Xen, at last look, doesn't support installing a paravirtualized host from a CD image. So I'm right back to my effectively unanswered original questions. So please: I asked a very specific pair of questions, and they remain unanswered. CentOS 5 Xen server (hypervisor, or Dom0, whatever we want to call it this week): Does CentOS 6 work, paravirtualized, on such a server? And given my deployment issues, does anyone have a base...

ISDN Cause codes for unanswered calls
I am wanting to use the ISDN cause code on an Asterisk 1.6 server to determine the status of a call attempt, where the call might not actually connect. Reason is I am checking for valid telephone numbers from a list of numbers, and I would like to know if the call has answered and cleared which I can by writing the hangupcause variable, but where I get an out of order network message, or number

Transferring Unanswered Calls
Hi list, I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer a call that is still ringing??? I Have some Grandstream GXP-2000 and with the TRNF button it's impossible. So, I've configured some keys to transfer the calls like this: [featuremap] blindxfer => #2 ; Blind transfer (default is #) disconnect => *0 ; Disconnect (default is *) ;automon => *1

AGI: getting the return code from an exec()'d application?
So I hacked up the Dial app to return a numeric return code instead of changing contexts based on a number being busy or unanswered. The purpose for this modified dial app, which I call AGIDial, is to help me concoct a "follow-me" type of application. The app returns -1 for a completed call, 0 for unanswered, or 1 for busy. Well, I hooked the thing up to an AGI script that uses perl and AGI.pm, and ran some test...

How to transfer an unanswered call???
Hi list, I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer a call that is still ringing??? Actually, the problem is that my telco provider doesn't offer an uniform method for answer/disconnection supervision, and by that I mean, some of it's line (I think) offer a polarity reversal, but other lines (of the same service provider) do not offer anything at all, so the answer of a call

Unanswered question
How long does one have to typically wait for an answer to a post? Tomorrow my message will have been up a week, and I've gotten no replies. It was about whether a file, while it was being written to, could subsequently be opened by another client for reading. I used a DVR with chasing play as an example. Didn't seem like that difficult of a question, but maybe it isn't geeky

OT: Polycom IP330 user problem
...ions/experiences are that relate. This is an Asterisk system, of course. ------- I looked at the server logs for the phone call missed by XXXX. They indicate that the call came in at 15:32:25, and was routed to her telephone at 15:32:32. This timed out after about 25 seconds as it should if unanswered, and was sent to voicemail at 15:32:58. I called BBBBBB and asked her to check the phone display. She told me that the phone logged an unanswered call at 15:32:32, precisely in accordance with the server log. This leaves two possible conjectures: * The telephone, for whatever reason,...

...-- they may have an initial author who cares about the content of an article. If so, that author will set a monitor on that article on a self-service basis, and read diffs, and decide if they still care. We settled that long ago You know, my initial reaction is to revert this as it is still unanswered I am aware of no 'style guide' to the effect of that commit comment, and would not support one to that effect if proposed. It breaks agile development. If you want bureaucracy, Fedora awaits I've made my view in CentOS space (that is: here) quite clear, that broken matter nee...
