Cisco 7965 SIP Firmware
I have 7965 and am trying to convert the firmware to SIP (SIP45.8-3-4SR1S). Does anyone have a valid XMLDefault.cnf.xml they could share? I have tried the version at voip-info<info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+phone+cisco+79x1+xml+configuration+files+for+SIP&view_comment_id=14768#Troubleshooting>for the 7941/7961 but unfortunately /var/log/messages shows in.tftp stops sending after XMLDefault.cnf.xml (se...

Skinny + XMLDefault
Please forgive me my ignorance ... I've spent two days trying to find out something about the format of the default configuration file, which CCM produces. The only example I have so far is the one from the chan_sccp source. There were tons of references on entering the callmanager commands on a cisco command line - which I don't have (don't need thanks to chan_skinny + chan_sccp).

[Asterisk-Dev] Cisco 7970 SCCP Configs.
...xml In the SEP<mac>.cnf.xml I'm assuming that in the <loadInformation> line I should be selecting one of these files, however when I've tried all these files I just get the message 'Load ID Incorrect' on the phone. If someone could post their SEP<mac>.cnf.xml and xmlDefault.CNF.XML files I'd be very grateful as I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious but just can't find it at the moment. Also there seems to be different versions of the xmlDefault.CNF.XML or XMLDefault.cnf.xml files regarding the case it should be in, could someone advise which the...

Help with upgrading 7960 SCCP to SIP

I've tried every imaginable <loadinformation> parameter, and can't get the phone to actually grab the image, it just keeps redownloading the XML file. If I put "P0S3-07-1-00" in OS79XX.TXT, the phone wants to download P0S3-07-1-00.sbn, which I don't have. If...

chan_skinny & XML Files for 7920
Hi, I have a Cisco 7920 that I'm trying to get working with my * box. When the phone boots it requests XMLDefault.cnf.xml and SEP<MACADDRESSHERE>.cnf. I assume I set the line number, etc in the latter of the two. However I cannot find any reference to how this file is structured. Anyone know? I assume this is why I'm getting the errors below: Oct 17 19:47:24 WARNING[1357974832]: File chan_skinny....

7970 CTLFile.tlv?
I've got a Cisco 7970 that's not completing its network registration to Asterisk. The "Registering" message stays on the screen (with the moving time wheel). After a few minutes, the onscreen message flashes "Updating CTL" then "Loading...", then the status messages update with: No valid CAPF server File Not Found: CTLFile.tlv No CTL installed

cisco 7920 makes 7940 reboot
I have asterisk 1.09 running with chan_sccp.20050701 on Fedora core 4 with kernel 2.6.12. I have a Cisco 7940 working with X-lite working on XP too, connecting to each other, Asterisk and FWD. The 7940 upgraded to SIP7.4 with xmlDefault.cnf.XML getting delivered via tftp using the loadInformation8 parameter method taken from voip-info.org ("Configuring Cisco 79xx phones with Asterisk" page) - worked fine once I had all the capital letters in the right place ;-) This does not use the OS79XX.TXT file as far as I can under...

Cisco 7940g Firmware load problems
I have a Cisco 7940G IP Phone. I am trying to load the firmware to SIP 3.2. The Phone just hangs in Defaulting CM to TFTP Server. It doesn't do anything else after that. I also have two other 7940g's that are the Universal Application Loader mode and say Protocol Application Invalid. I need to know what I can do to fix both these problems. I am running Asterisk@Home version 1.0. I have to
