oom killer: gfp=mask=0xd1 - bug w/ EM64T?
...occurs even when I have vm.overcommit_memory=2 set in /etc/sysctl.conf. The
research I've done indicates that this is a bio-uses-GFP_DMA bug with EM64T.
I'm running CentOS 4.4 with the 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp x86_64 kernel on the
following hardware:
2 x Intel Xeon CPU 5148 @ 2.33GHz
Supermicro X7DB8 motherboard
Is there a patch or workaround for this, or some parameter that I can pass
to the kernel at boot? Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Lance

Bug#710522: xen-hypervisor-4.1-amd64: Boot hang with Linux 3.2+Xen, works with linux 2.6.32+Xen or 3.2 raw
...when booting
Linux 2.6.32 (linux-image-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 from Squeeze) on Xen.
I tried with Xen 4.0 from Squeeze (xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64) the behavior is the
same (it hangs with Linux 3.2).
The systems are all running 2 quad-core Xeon (E5320 or E5405) with 32Gb to 64Gb of RAM,
with Supermicro X7DB8 motherboards.
