WWDC Puppeteer lunch
Reminder for Mac Puppeteers going to WWDC How about we meet for lunch at noon on Tuesday. Let''s try to get the table closet to the Odwalla refrigerator, just for reference. We can get more specific on this list on the 8th after we verify the set up. I might even get there a little earlier and put down "reserved" tags....

[Very OT] Steve Jobs, is he sick?
For us "Railers" on Mac systems we all probably watched Steve Job''s keynote at the WWDC yesterday. Was it just me, or did Steve look "sick"? I mean he has lost a lot of weight and his skin was very drawn. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Logo
Hi All, I'm happy to announce that Apple has agreed to let llvm.org (and anyone else) use the great LLVM logo they designed for WWDC. If you're interested, you can see the full version of the logo on this page: http://llvm.org/Logo.html I personally think that this is a pretty great logo/mascot for LLVM, because it is very abstract, can be adapted in a variety of ways, is alpha channeled correctly, and probably loo...

I'm awful at this kind of stuff, but maybe someone could do a small version of this with "LLVM Inside" or some such phrase on it, to be used on...

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Developer meeting videos up
At least with WWDC videos and materials that Apple also keeps out of the public eye, there's a way for people who have agreed to Apple's NDA to buy access to the materials if it's important enough to spend the money. But this policy is prohibiting access by any means (including NDA's) which s...

[LLVMdev] A cool use of LLVM at Apple: the OpenGL stack
[I just got official okay to mention this in public. This was previously announced at Apple's WWDC conference last week.] For those who are interested, Apple announced that they are using the LLVM optimizer and JIT within their Mac OS 10.5 'Leopard' OpenGL stack (which was distributed in beta form to WWDC attendees). LLVM is used in two different ways, at runtime: 1. Runtime code sp...

[LLVMdev] May 2007 LLVM Developer's Meeting
...Due to a number of scheduling conflicts we've settled on a date quite different from the original target: May 25th. This is a month earlier than previously estimated, but this date is now firm. May 25th was chosen because some of the organizers are traveling internationally in June, the Apple WWDC is in early June, we couldn't get a room, etc. June just turned out to be a bad month. The good news is that in the poll taken last year, more of you wanted May than June anyway. So, you can now mark your calendars: May 25, 2007. Best Regards, Reid.

[LLVMdev] RFC: Criteria for backing out patches
Hi all, looks like the WWDC has been a nice success, but it is over now and all devs are back to normal mode. I have written up a very subjective blog post here <http://heisenbug.blogspot.com/2010/06/my-grief-with-out-of-tree-code.html> in which I ask for clarifications to the development policy wrt. backing out of b...

[LLVMdev] Developer Meeting Location Update
Hi Everyone, As it turns out, all of the meeting rooms at apple are booked for the devmtg, due to close proximity with the WWDC conference. As such, we found a great room at the Cupertino Inn. This shouldn't affect travel plans, as it's right across the street from Apple. If you're planning to stay at the cupertino inn, you just won't have to walk anywhere :) -Chris -- http://nondot.org/sabre/ http:/...
