Windows Universal Platform?
Hi all,
Anyone know anything about Windows Universal Platform? Someone raised
an issue on github:
https://github.com/xiph/flac/issues/32
The `flac_max`/`flac_min` issue is resolved, but the WUP one is not.
Cheers,
Erik

stats::line() does not produce correct Tukey line when n mod 6 is 2 or 3
...ure R implementation on SO at some point in his lost youth:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3224731/john-tukey-median-median-or-resistant-line-statistical-test-for-r-and-line
This one does indeed generate the line of identity for the (1:9, 1:9) case, so I do suspect that we have a genuine scr*wup in line().
Notice, incidentally, that
> line(1:9+rnorm(9,,1e-1),1:9+rnorm(9,,1e-1))
Call:
line(1:9 + rnorm(9, , 0.1), 1:9 + rnorm(9, , 0.1))
Coefficients:
[1] -0.9407 1.1948
I.e., it is not likely an issue with exact integers or perfect fit.

Rsync 2.6.6 released
I have released rsync version 2.6.6. This release is a bug-fix release
to handle a null-pointer bug that turned up in rsync's version of zlib
1.1.4 (this is not the recent zlib 1.2.2 security fix, which did not
affect rsync) and to squash a few other minor bugs. To deal with the
zlib issue, rsync has been upgraded to include zlib 1.2.3.
Here is a list of the changes between 2.6.5 and 2.6.6:

RaislsEdge - where to get latest javascripts ?
To play with RJS I just made a "rake freeze edge". But this copies only the
libs into vendor/rails and any attempt of "rake update_javascripts" fails.
But all the he required javascripts are there, at:
BASEPATH/vendor/rails/actionpack/lib/action_view/helpers/javascripts/
Except of prototype, they seem to have no version number, so I am asking
whether I should take those

stats::line() does not produce correct Tukey line when n mod 6 is 2 or 3
Tukey divides the points into three groups, not the x and y values
separately.
I'll try to get hold of the book for a direct quote, might take a couple of
days.

Dovecot not handling r/o mailboxes completely, and problem with ACL as a workaround
First of all, I think dovecot is really fantastic and I have thanks for all
the hard work. I think it will be the best fit for my ~5000 users when I
have it setup completely. We normally have approx 500 concurrent IMAP
connections during the day.
I am trying to convert from courier-imap to dovecot, but I have an issue with
public namespace folders that are not writable by certain users.
