Somebody knows how do I set wineoss.drv or winealsa.drv to use the second sound card instead of the first one? Currently I'm using winearts.drv, but want to get rid of arts, cause wine is the only one on my box using it. Thanks.

...d would like to use my HP Coolpix camera unload software. After installation I allowed direct read/write to COM ports in wine.conf, but the program complains there are no COM ports at all. If I run wine --debugmsg +file +relay, I get something like wine works with COM2 (COM1 is mouse) and missing wineoss.drv, MFC42LOC.DLL and reg.dat. How can I successfully detect my ports in Wine ? hi wine community, i recently wrote to this list in my effort to get traktor dj studio to work with wine. many thanks to robert reif, who got it fully working with the wineoss driver and native oss. the problem was, that wineoss needs mmap access to the soundcard to correctly initilize dsound. dsound is needed for 4channel playback (master&headphone) my configuration is fc2 with kernel 2.6.6.435 and alsa 1.0.5 (and of course the newest wine cvs build from today)....

..., loops again, etc... The screen isn't updated during this; well, it is updated, but once every 15 sec. When I switched to another virtual console, to kill wine, the sound resumed normally! No more chooping and looping. So I came back to X, but at once the problem restarted. This occurs with wineoss and winealsa, UseMMap or not. Hi all I have been getting this really crazy problem while using wine. My wine version is 20050111. Last night I installed warcraft III and the games graphics and sound worked perfectly, no hassles at all. Today when I restarted the game there was no sound.
