....2.5-124) controlled printserver using cups
(1.1.15-69) on Suse 8.1.
Problem is:
Using Novell the print queue you see on the (win-) client is
automatically updated every few seconds.
Using Samba it is not updated; means you have to click on refresh to
get the actual queue.
Is this a client (redmont-wincrap) or a server (samba/cups) problem?
Does anybody have the same problem?
Is there a fix?

for a potential fix if there is still a problem.

Big test coming up: fallout 3
ok as everyone knows, (and to be frank i didnt think it would in my lifetime ;P) fallout 3 gets released in 3 days or 6 for those who live in europe.

OT: non-Windows only training sites
...t the completion. Yesterday, I launch
the training, and a window pops up, and says "loading", and nothing else
ever happens.
Oh, sorry, when I close the window, it crashes all three windows of FireFox.
I'm told for folks with Macs, they have them come to the offices to take
it... on WinCrap, of course, with Internet Exploder.

Oh, almost forgot: I tried clicking on the "web accessability", which is
W3C compliant... and go to log in, and it tells me the content isn't W3C
compliant, so apparently only the login page is compliant.

surveillance DVR
Does anyone know of a DVR that runs Linux that does NOT USE Active-X,
and/or allows logging in directly?
All I keep running into are crap that ->requires<- IE, and don't allow
directly logging in.
