I'm not sure if this is an icecast issue or oddcast issue or both, but the latest Winamp (v5.22) is not now playing AAC+ streams encoded with Oddcast. Winamp v5.21 and earlier versions work fine. I believe that Oddsock is using a Content Type of aacp. Using a .aac extension with this Content Type may present a conflict. This might actually be by design. I will do some further testing with Winamp and report here tomorrow. I will also double-check with the developer of Winamp for complete clarification. Hi, It's been pretty quiet as of late. I have a question. I have an icecast server housed at my provider with a very good internet connection. At work I'm using an ADSL line, which should be sufficient to listen to the 128K streams I'm sending out. However, when I listen with WinAmp, after about half an hour the stream stutters and stops. I can restart it and listen again but it will stop again as well. I don't think icecast is at fault here, but I wonder what WinAmp is doing wrong ? Hi, I was just checking out icecast-2.2.0. You guys have done a great job yet again! I was interested in the range support / stream seeking on static files, since that would be a really useful feature for my clients. Range support / stream seeking seems to work with RealPlayer v10, but not with Winamp 5 or Windows Media Player 10. Does anyone else have this experience? Noticing a strange issue, i'm not sure where this lies. I'm using oddcastDSP to stream Ogg to icecast2, which seems to be working ok, but using winamp (v2) to stream from icecast, winamp is constantly prebuffering, displaying a length of 0:01.
