Using discrete choice data to estimate marginal willingness to pay (MWTP)
Hello Everyone,
Can anyone show me how to use discrete choice data to estimate marginal willingness to pay? I've searched for simple information or code on how to do this but haven't found much.
The closest I've come is a paper titled "Introduction to Choice Experiments using R." The paper seems to have what I want but is not readily available and is written in Japanese.

Consultant needed for WTP analysis based on results from a conjoint survey
We are in the process of analyzing data from a discrete-choice conjoint survey and are looking for a consultant who can help us assess willingness to pay (WTP). We are currently able to assess overall WTP using the coefficients from our conjoint analysis but would like assistance in determining if significant differences in WTP exist across a number of subgroups via a segmented analysis or some other procedure. Our company is planning to do m...

Thanks for the quick response, and for the willingness to review. I won't let
this languish so long, like the post from last November.
Happy to hear that you feel it's best not to have the umbrella "fast" flag.
Thanks again,

Door not hitting me on my way out
Sorry, folks. I wish our release developers well, and hope that they
can open up their processes to allow much needed community involvment.
But I've hopped to Scientific Linux and find it much more usable due
to their willingness to publish updates even without the entire new
release bundled, and the much timelier updates from the upstream
vendor. php53 and bind97 are directly available for their verison 5.x
release, and their version 6.0 has now taken over my testing
environments. This makes EPEL's version of drupal, a...

Recent vulnerabilities in xorg-server
Colin, good day!
Spotted two patches for x11-servers/xorg-server port: see entries for
x11r6.9.0-dbe-render.diff and x11r6.9.0-cidfonts.diff at
http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/X11R6.9.0/patches/index.html
Seems like they are not applied to the xorg-server-6.9.0_5. May be
it should be added to the VuXML document?
There is a ports/107733 issue that incorporates these patches. May
be you

This is definitely a bug which needs to be fixed. Noone just expressed
the willingness to fix it :)

Web Interface for adding new users
Greetings to all,
We are new to the Asterisk community and really appreciate the willingness you have to share knowledge and help one another. We are building one of the Nations first fiber to the home networks here in Provo and have selected Asterisk to test as our phone switch.
Newbie kinds of questions:
Is there any web-based tool that would allow non-technical personnel to add new T...

Anyone interested in forming a libvirt "docs" team?
...s improving, so wondering
if anyone would be interested in forming a libvirt "docs" team to help make
that happen?
While some of the documentation needs people familiar with specific pieces
of libvirt, there's also a lot that doesn't, and just needs people with some free
time and willingness to help.
Anyone up for it? :)
Regards and best wishes,

I just want to publicly say THANK YOU for this great book and your

Adding a slack for communication?
...ist makes searching for past issues possible. Slack, and irc in general, is a more closed garden than a public archived mailing list.
That said, irc/slack is good for immediate interaction between people, say, gluster user with a nightmare and a knowledgeable developer with deep understanding and willingness to assist.
If there's a way to make a debug/help/fix session publicly available, and crucially, referenced in the mailing list archive, then irc/slack is a great additional communication channel.

And I apologize for not trimming the reply - don't know how much to retain...
The referenced document seems to be leveraging domain services that we're not using.
We are only using AD user authentication to access shares on AIX.

Clarification of ratings...
I was browsing apps and looking for games that run in Wine as Gold or better.
The issue is that I see many apps listed as gold that require recompiling Wine with patches to get them to work. From my understanding, any application that requires code changes should be listed as garbage and tied to a patch/bug to be able to operate. That and any application that ranks higher should run under a

work when they weren't commented out anyway). Does this have something

I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and expertise.

I'd like to get a clarification on how to enable proper persistent modseq
tracking.
Per RFC 4551, "A client supporting CONDSTORE.... indicates its willingness
to receive mod-sequence updates... by issuing:"
SELECT mailbox (CONDSTORE)
STATUS (... HIGHESTMODSEQ ...)

It seems that Dovecot 2.1.7 (Debian 7.5) enables persistent modseq tracking
after one of the above two commands (and maybe others). So far so good.
So my questions are:...
