Puppet agent hangs for over a minute, no info in --summarize
Hoping you guys might be able to help me out, I''m not sure what''s
wrong but puppet agent hangs for over a minute, no resource spikes
(CPU, memory, etc all stay basically the same as without starting
puppet, barely a blip, and I''ve got more than enough headroom). It''s
not a serious issue for continuous usage, but really, really annoying

[LLVMdev] Windows interface for clang
I've finally developed what I think is a general solution to the problem of
building existing Windows programs with clang:
https://github.com/russellw/wic
Using this, I've managed to run attempted builds of Python, Ruby and Perl.
Python 2.7 works - it generates a python.exe that at least passes a
preliminary smoke test.
Perl generates an executable that crashes partway through the

Lattice boxplots
Hi All,
I'm familiar with bwplot() in lattice package. Is it possible to get such a
boxplot using lattice package:
http://www.reading.ac.uk/ssc/publications/graphics/mma-fig1.gif
instead of the following default:
http://media.wiley.com/wires/WICS/WICS22/mfig005.gif
My aim is to get a compact boxplot for publication. Having legend can help
because otherwise x-axis labels are repeated for each rectanglular box.
Thanks,
Peng Cai

Cisco IAD2421 with Asterisk
All,
I am posting this here to announce I have finally managed to get my
Cisco IAD2421 to speak MGCP with Asterisk. Due to an acute lack of
reading on the subject as searched on Google, I'm putting this out with
the hope that it helps whomever should need to do this in the future.
This should also apply to the IAD2420 and the other models in the line,
but as I do not have access to those,

Cisco Router FXO / Skinny
Hey,
Does anyone know how to use the cisco router with an fxo wic with
Asterisk? I don't have enough space on this device to support an IOS
that supports sip or h323. Currently the only one signaling in there
says Cisco. I assume this is the skinny protocol.
Does anyone know how to configure this 2600 with Asterisk?
Thanks,
Erik

Cisco Config
Is anyone here familiar with configuring Cisco routers? I have a Cisco
3620 with 3x WIC-1DSU-T1, 1x 2FE-2W, and 1x 1E-2W. I have 2 T1 lines
being brought in by ACD.NET, a local CLEC. Within the next 3 months we
will be getting another line from them, as our bandwidth needs grow. I
am new to cisco and need help configuring this router. I am currently on
a 1M DSL line with them. The DSL modem is

Cisco 2610XM and Asterisk
A little off-topic:
I have the following hardware:
2610 XM
NM-2V
VIC-2BRI NT/TE
IOS loaded:
flash:c2600-ipvoice-mz.123-5d.bin"
I get the following error while booting:
%C542-1-UNKNOWN_VIC: VNM(1), vic daughter card has an unknown id of FF
Is the VIC-2BRI compatible with the 2610XM? What IOS needs to be loaded?

Cisco 2621 router for voice and data?
Hey Guys/Gals,
I was thinking of getting a cisco 2621 router with 2 FastE modules and 1
T1-Wic to use for a small business setup along with asterisk. I want to
provide redundancy between my VOIP provider and telco, or between two VOIP
providers. Also my plans are to setup VLANS to separate internal voice
traffic and regular data traffic using a cisco 2900 switch. Is the 2621
overkill for 5-7

Microphone in World in Conflict
Hi
I've got WIC installed and running in current Wine-Version 1.1.23.
Everything runs fine, without the Water and the Mic.
Water is not nerving so much, sometimes its just a bit laggy, or i dont even have water in the rivers.
But my main problem is to get the microphone running.
I tried every audio-driver in winecfg.
I had seen in other Topics where a mic was running (Steam, Rosetta Stone).

call from cisco router to asterisk gets auto attendant
Folks,
I have a NEC 2400 pbx(non-voip) behind a Cisco 3725, connected via
standard wic-t1 card. The NEC needs to call two different asterisk
servers with 4 digits. I have two way calling working with the one * box,
but the other is perplexing me.
Here's the layout
* <--> Cisco 2811(192.168.13.1) <--> 1.54 point to point <- Cisco

POTS lines vs. using T1 to connectphoneservices?? HELP
Kevin,
Are you in the US? If so then you've probably got several carriers to
choose from. In my experience analog lines have a flat expense of
$20-$25 per month. That equates to about $140-$175 per month in flat
fees, plus you have usage on top of that. (Your experience may vary.) I
am currently experimenting with a company out of NY called Digizip
(www.digizip.com) that sold me a Qwest

Cisco, Sip, Linux, ISDN
I am one of the few people left in the US with a ISDN connection to the
internet. (Internet cable has been promised "Real Soon Now" for a couple
years). Worse, my home network runs on a decrepit Cisco 2500 series
router, and is double-natted via a firewall, which is why I currently
use iax to call anywhere.
I have been making ever-increasing use of my asterisk PBX, and I'm ready
